WWE Smackdown on FOX Results for 10/25/19 Brock Lesnar and Cain Velasquez Meet Face to Face

The Beast comes face to face with former UFC Heavyweight champion tonight at 8pm EST on Fox Sports 1!


Good evening Fight Fans, and welcome to our coverage of tonight’s edition of WWE Smackdown, on Fox Sports 1 for one week only! Be sure to stick around afterwards for the post-show podcast and 205 Live!

-We open the show with Miz TV where The Miz stands in the ring with Ric Flair and Hulk Hogan and their teams for Crown Jewel. Hogan says that his team is going to destroy Ric’s team before Ric says that Hogan and his team are going down before Hogan says that Ric has never beaten him and he’s not going to beat his team. Sami mocks Chad’s height before Chad says that he’s proud of being short and being on Team Hogan before Ali mocks Sami and calls him Shinsuke’s mouthpiece before Corbin says that Roman is going to let everyone down and that Smackdown is his kingdom and that the WWE Universe needs a ruler and not a hero. Roman says that Corbin is stupid and looks stupid before saying that he’s going to punch him in the mouth before they set up a six-man tag match in tonight’s main event between Roman, Ali and Chad and Corbin, Cesaro and Shinsuke before all six men brawl at ringside and Team Hogan run Team Flair off as we go to commercial.

New Day vs Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode

Dolph drops Kofi with a shoulder block and dances before Kofi gets caught up on the top turnbuckle when Roode pulls his foot down and Dolph superkicks him off of the top turnbuckle and down onto the floor as we go to commercial.

Big-E hits Dolph with several belly to belly suplexes and sends Roode off of the apron before clotheslining Dolph and Kofi hits a tope before Roode hits a spinebuster and Dolph rolls Kofi up for the pin and the win.

Winner: Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode defeat New Day via pinfall when Dolph pins Kofi.

-After the match Dolph and Robert and The Revival attack New Day before Heavy Machinery come out and save New Day as we see Lucha House Party looking on from backstage before we see Rey Mysterio, his son Dominic and Cain Velasquez talking backstage as we go to commercial.

-We get a video package for Braun Strowman and Tyson Fury at Crown Jewel.

Lacey Evans vs Local Talent

Lacey gets out of the ring as soon as the match starts and gets back into the ring at the count of nine before hitting the Woman’s Right for the pin and the win.

Winner: Lacey Evans defeats a local performer via pinfall with the Woman’s Right.

-Nikki Cross is interviewed via satellite backstage where she talks about her match against Bayley for the Smackdown Women’s Championship and her match against Mandy Rose tonight as we go to commercial.

-We return to the rebuilt Firefly Fun House where Bray holds a funeral for Rambling Rabbit where Bray takes gin out of the casket and kisses his bloody head before he reanimates and is immediately eaten by Mercy.

Drew Gulak vs Kalisto

Before the match Drew shows his PowerPoint presentation and Kalisto dropkicks him before Drew comes back and locks in a torture rack before Braun Strowman comes out to the ring and Kalisto hits the Salida del Sol off of the distraction for the pin and the win.

Winner:Kalisto defeats Drew Gulak via pinfall with the Salida del Sol

-After the match Braun hits Drew with two running powerslams before saying that this is what happens when you disrespect him before Daniel Bryan is interviewed in the ring about the current state of Yes Movement before Daniel is interrupted by Shinsuke Nakamura and Sami Zayn. Sami says that Shinsuke holds no ill feelings for Daniel pinning him last week and shows a video of Daniel turning on the WWE Universe last November before saying that he’s known Daniel for a long time and that the New Daniel Bryan is the real Daniel Bryan. Sami says that Daniel is good and honorable unlike the fans and that he genuinely cares about the planet and the environment and that the fans don’t care about anything or anyone, but themselves. Sami says that he’s a vegan like Daniel and that he and Shinsuke care about the ocean and that the three of them are artists. Sami tries to get Daniel to join them before Daniel walks past them and out of the ring before leaving as we go to commercial.

Nikki Cross vs Mandy Rose w/Sonya Deville

Mandy throws Nikki across the ring and drops her before taking Nikki down and locking in a rear chin lock before hitting a fall away slam for a quick two count. Mandy sends Nikki out of the ring before Sonya punches Nikki and rolls her back into the ring before Nikki comes back with a bulldog and hits a diving cross body for a near fall before Nikki rolls Mandy up and gets distracted by Sonya at ringside before hitting a wrecking ball dropkick. Nikki then hits a fisherman’s neckbreaker for the pin and the win.

Winner: Nikki Cross defeats Mandy Rose via pinfall with a fisherman’s neckbreaker.

-We get a video package for parade The Undertaker took part in this week in Saudi Arabia before Cain Velasquez and Rey Mysterio come out to the ring and Rey talks about Brock’s attack on his son and that Cain intends to defeat Brock at Crown Jewel before saying that Cain is going to give Brock a scar to match the one he already has. Brock and Paul appear on the big screen and Paul says that there’s no way they’re coming out to the ring this close to Crown Jewel and that Brock has better things to do than go face to face with Cain. We then see Brock lift up Dominic before dropping him and they rush to the back as we go to commercial.

-We come back from commercial to Rey and Cain checking on Dom with a trainer before Brock attacks them with a trash can and F5’s Rey into the wall and F5’s Cain on top of Dominic before leaving.

Roman Reigns, Ali & Chad Gable vs Baron Corbin, Cesaro & Shinsuke Nakamura

Before the match Cain appears on the big screen and yells at Brock in Spanish before everyone pairs off and brawls at ringside before Roman punches Corbin in the corner. Shinsuke comes in and Roman rocks him with a right hand before hitting a drive by dropkick and Chad comes in and exchanges arm wringers with Shinsuke before they grapple on the mat. Chad hits a drop toe hold into a dropkick by Ali before Cesaro comes in and hits a gut wrench suplex before Ali comes back with a rolling sit-out facebuster and Cesaro sends Ali out of the ring. Corbin then clotheslines Ali at ringside as we go to commercial.

Team Flair has Ali isolated as we return to the ring, Shinsuke having Ali in a rear chin lock before knocking Chad off of the apron and Cesaro and Ali counter each other until Ali hits a DDT and goes to tag in Roman before Corbin pulls him from the apron and sends him into the barricade. Ali gets the tag to Chad who hits a diving cross body and a flurry of strikes before hitting Shinsuke with an exploder suplex and a cannonball to Corbin in the corner before hitting a moonsault for a near fall. Chad sends Cesaro out of the ring and applies an ankle lock to Corbin that Shinsuke breaks up before Chad counters a double superplex into a double missile dropkick before Roman hits a sit-out powerbomb for a near fall on Cesaro. Roman then goes for a superman punch before Cesaro hits a spinebuster and swing into a sharpshooter before Ali superkicks Cesaro to break the hold. Corbin hits Deep Six before everyone hits a move until Roman goes for a spear and Cesaro hits a pop-up uppercut before Roman counters the Neutralizer into a superman punch and a spear. Roman then hits a superman punch before Ali hits a 450 for the pin and the win.

Winner: Ali, Roman Reigns and Chad Gable defeat Cesaro, Shinsuke Nakamura and Baron Corbin via pinfall when Ali pins Cesaro with a 450.
