WWE SmackDown On 9/2/22 Stays Above Two Million Viewers, Demo Rating Rises Slightly

The actual numbers are in for Friday’s WWE SmackDown. 

SpoilerTV reported on September 3 that WWE SmackDown drew 1.973 million viewers in the preliminary viewership. Hour one reportedly scored 1.952 million viewers while the second hour drew 1.995 million viewers. The August 26 episode of WWE SmackDown had a final viewership number of 1.990 million viewers. 

The show was taped a week in advance as the roster was traveling to Wales for WWE Clash at the Castle. 

Friday’s episode recorded a 0.40 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic, putting FOX on top of the national broadcasts for the night. The final rating for last Friday was a 0.48. 

On September 6, Brandon Thurston revealed the final number for the Sept 2 SmackDown. According to Thurston, SmackDown recorded 2.07 million viewers and a 0.49 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic.
