WWE SmackDown (9/1) Final Viewership And Rating Drops
Check out the viewership numbers for the September 1 episode of WWE SmackDown.
Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics reports that the September 1 episode of WWE SmackDown drew 2.443 million viewers. This is down from the August 25 episode of the show, which drew 2.647 million viewers.
Furthermore, Friday’s show drew a 0.65 rating, which is down significantly from the August 25 show that drew a 0.78 rating.
TV Series Finale reports that WWE SmackDown drew 2.28 million viewership in the preliminary numbers on September 1. This number is down from the preliminary number of 2.505 million viewers on August 25.
Last Friday’s episode was a tribute show to Bray Wyatt and Terry Funk.
Friday’s SmackDown drew a 0.6 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic, down from the 0.71 prelim rating last Friday.
Friday’s viewership number was more in line with the 2.233 million preliminary viewers the show drew on August 18. Preseason NFL preemptions helped out that preliminary number. The final viewership number for August 18 came in at 2.094 million viewers. There was no preseason NFL games on September 1.
