WWE SmackDown 8/21 Viewership And Rating Spike Following SummerSlam
Smackdown rebounded in a big way, drawing 2,437,000 viewers on Tuesday. The better news is that the 18 to 49 demographic rating was up .07, finishing at .77. The show finished No. 1 on the night in ShowBuzz Daily’s top 150 cable original programs. Last week’s episode posted 2,189,000 viewers and a .70 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic.
The Miz’ SummerSlam victory over Daniel Bryan helped Miz & Mrs. ratings as the show drew 73,000 extra viewers from last week. Tuesday’s episode finished with 1,235,000 viewers and a .50 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The show finished fourth among top 150 cable originals.
