WWE SmackDown 7/24 Viewership Shows Strong Resurgence For Jeff Hardy/Sheamus Bar Fight



SmackDown’s viewership rises after a lot of hype for the Sheamus and Jeff Hardy Bar Fight.

According to overnight numbers released by Showbuzz Daily, the July 24 episode of SmackDown averaged 1.970 million viewers, up from the 1.893 million viewers the July 17 episode averaged. This is the strongest overnight number SmackDown has received in the month of July, a month that has also seen record lows for WWE on FOX. Three weeks ago, on July 3, SmackDown drew the lowest viewership ever for an episode of televised on the FOX Network, with only 1.776 million viewers

In the 18-49 demographic, the show drew a 0.5 rating, which is identical to last week’s rating in that same demographic. Between ABC, CBS, CW, FOX, and NBC, SmackDown drew the highest rating in the 18-49 demo. The show also drew a 0.6 rating in the 25-54 demographic, which is identical to last week’s rating in that demographic.

Hourly Breakdown:

Hour 1: 1.985 million viewers, 0.5 rating in the 18-49 demographic

Hour 2: 1.956 million viewers, 0.5 rating in the 18-49 demographic
