WWE Smackdown 2/27 Viewership Stays Steady
Smackdown still averaging the same two weeks in a row.
For the second week in a row, Smackdown averaged 2.6 million viewers according to ShowBuzzDaily.com. Smackdown was ranked the highest among cable original shows even though other shows scored a higher average because Smackdown had 860,000 viewers in the 18 to 49 year old demographic.
This week's Smackdown featured John Cena for the first time in months and he was victorious in the main event against AJ Styles to earn a chance at the WWE Championship at WWE Fastlane. Smackdown also featured Sami Zayn versus Baron Corbin with Kevin Owens on commentary, Ruby Riott defeating Naomi, and a confrontation between The New Day and The Usos ahead of their championship match at Fastlane.
On YouTube, only one video from Smackdown has received over one million views which was the match between John Cena and AJ Styles. Besides that video, the two highest viewed videos were Cena's opening promo which received almost 800,000 views and The Usos and The New Day received 525,000 views
