WWE SmackDown 1/8 Viewership Down From New Year’s Day Episode, Youtube Numbers Really Low

Despite being live for the first time in two weeks, SmackDown’s viewership was down from the holidays.

ShowBuzzDaily reports that the Jan. 8 episode of SmackDown drew 2,032,000 viewers. This number is down from the Jan. 1 episode, which drew 2,091,000 viewers. The Jan 1 episode was taped the weekend prior to its airing. Tuesday was the first live episode since Dec. 18, which drew 2,214,000 million viewers.

The good news is that the demographic rating was up. Tuesday’s episode posted a 0.72 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic, up from the 0.68 rating the show drew on New Year’s Day.
