WWE SmackDown 1/1 Viewership Once Again Tops Raw; Back Over 2 Million Viewers

For the second straight week, SmackDown Live viewership topped Raw.

ShowBuzzDaily reports that the Jan. 1 episode of SmackDown Live drew 2,091,000 viewers. This number is up from last week’s 1,904,000 viewers. Raw averaged 1,968,000 viewers on New Year’s Eve. Like Raw, SmackDown was once again taped this week. The show will air live for the first time in two weeks this Tuesday, Jan 8.

The New Year’s Day episode posted a 0.68 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The show finished 10th among cable originals, losing out to ESPN’s all-day slate of college football.
