Live Coverage.
- Michae Cole & Corey Graves welcomed the audience to the broadcast before transitioning into the opening segment.
- Nashville’s own kicked off proceedings by welcoming back AJ Styles to Friday Night SmackDown. Styles reflected on how it was fitting he made his return to the city of Nashville and said he was focused on rebuilding his legacy starting tonight. Styles understood that there were people backstage that needed to be reminded SmackDown is the house AJ Styles built, but he was interrupted by Carmelo Hayes. Hayes said he was not surprised there was no line of people welcoming him back, but he would take the pleasure to do so. Hayes said he had held SmackDown while he was out and said he deserved to be WWE United States Champion before LA Knight and Andrade El Ídolo. Styles said that Knight was relentless, but Hayes said he did not need advice from “quitters”. Styles then challenged Hayes to a match, but Hayes rejected the challenge; however, that invoked WWE United States Champion LA Knight. Knight could punch Hayes about four or five times if he wanted to or Hayes could face Styles for a shot at the WWE United States Title. This led to the opening match.
- There was a vignette of a fast car driving through before the following text appeared: “Coming soon”.
- Carmelo Hayes def. AJ Styles via Referee Stoppage.
- The referee called off the match due to AJ Styles getting injured. Knight hit the BFT on Hayes after the match.
- There was a video package previewing Roman Reigns & WWE Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes facing The Bloodline (Jacob Fatu & Solo Sikoa) ahead of WWE Bad Blood.
- Dumpster Match: “Michin” Mia Yim def. Chelsea Green (w/ Piper Niven) (Powerbomb through Table Inside Trash Bin).
- Naomi was training before Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill informed her she would be the third host of WWE Bad Blood in Atlanta. Bayley then appeared and guaranteed Naomi she would get a title match if she won tomorrow.
- Bayley came to the ring to cut a promo where she called out WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax (with Tiffany Stratton). Bayley put over Jax as a dominant champion, but said that two things would happen to her: Either she would regain the title from Jax on WWE Bad Blood or Tiffany Stratton would stab Jax from behind and cash in her Women’s Money In The Bank Briefcase to take the title. Stratton then said she did not need the briefcase to beat Jax, which bamboozled Jax. Jax & Stratton tried to attack Bayley, but Bayley threw Stratton out of the ring and attacked Jax with the briefcase. Stratton contemplated cashing in on Jax, but she stopped herself before Jax left the ring.
- Chelsea Green walked around backstage as A-Town Down Under (Austin Theory & Grayson Waller), Pretty Deadly (Elton Prince & Kit Wilson), Los Garza (Angel Garza & Berto Garza) & Nick Aldis were disgusted by Green’s scent. After that, Carmelo Hayes demanded a title shot at the US Title after the events tonight, but Aldis said to wait on the status of AJ Styles for a new decision.
- Naomi def. Tiffany Stratton via Pinfall (Stacked Crucifix Pin).
- Jacob Fatu cut a promo on behalf of The Bloodline, saying that everyone loved The Tribal Chief and that everyone must acknowledge him.
- Nia Jax confronted Tiffany Stratton backstage, telling her she better not pull a fast one on her while Liv Morgan & Rhea Ripley were down for the picking.
- WWE Tag Team Championships – Ladder Match: The Bloodline’s Guerrillas of Destiny (Tama Tonga & Tonga Loa) (c) def. The Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins) (w/ B-Fab), and #DIY (Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa).
