WWE Reveals Interim NXT Cruiserweight Title Tournament Format
It was announced earlier this week on WWE’s The Bump that due to current travel prohibitions, NXT would be crowning an Interim Cruiserweight Champion as Jordan Devlin is currently in the United Kingdom and unable to travel.
Now, WWE revealed the format of the upcoming tournament. The tournament breaks away from the traditional single-elimination tournament that WWE usually holds and instead, shares similarities with the New Japan-Pro Wrestling G1 Climax tournament.
