WWE Releases Updated Card For Starrcade House Show

WWE released an updated lineup for its Starrcade event, taking place November 25 in Greensboro, North Carolina.

The card is topped by a pair of cage matches involving new champions. AJ Styles defends his newly won WWE Title against Jinder Mahal inside the cage. Then, in the semi-main event, Charlotte Flair steps inside the cage to defend against Natalya fresh off winning that title this past Tuesday on Smackdown.

WWE also officially announced that Ric Flair, a mainstay for NWA/Jim Crockett Promotions and WCW at many Starrcade events, would be in attendance. Others slated to appear include the Hardys, Ricky Steamboat and the Rock & Roll Express. Another addition to the card sees two wrestlers currently on Raw — Dash Wilder and Dustin Rhodes — set to wrestle one another, with Dustin apparently shelving his Goldust character to wrestle as himself.

Starrcade was considered the signature pay-per-view event of the year for WCW but WWE elected to revive the name for this house show, taking place from Greensboro, which hosted the first Starrcade event on Thanksgiving Day in 1983.

Starrcade is not expected to air on the WWE Network.

Here is the complete announced card for Starrcade:

WWE Championship Steel Cage Match
AJ Styles vs. Jinder Mahal

SmackDown Women’s Championship Steel Cage Match
North Carolina's own Charlotte Flair vs. Natalya

SmackDown Tag Team Championship Fatal 4-Way Match
