‘WWE: Recruits’ Docuseries To Premiere On Roku Channel, John Cena Serving As Producer

A new WWE series is coming.

The Hollywood Reporter first reported that WWE has a new docuseries entitled “WWE: Recruits.” The series, which runs for eight episodes, will premiere on The Roku Channel. John Cena serves as the producer.

WWE: Recruits will follow a group of men and women hoping to become WWE superstars. Some content was filmed during WrestleMania weekend. A. Smith & Co. Productions (Hell’s Kitchen, American Ninja Warrior) is producing the series for Roku Channel.

“Millions around the world watch and dream of it, but only a handful of extraordinary individuals can become a WWE Superstar,” Cena said in a statement. “I am so excited to bring WWE: Recuits to The Roku Channel and look forward to giving viewers an exclusive all-access perspective on how the WWE turns the dreams of talented young people into a reality.”

Fightful will provide more information on WWE: Recruits when it is known.

Cena competed at WrestleMania 39, losing to Austin Theory.
