Backstage News

– Although Triple was sidelined with COVID, we’ve heard he’s doing fine. Road Dogg helped run the show, and it was mainly written by Sunday evening.

– Happy Corbin is now Baron Corbin internally, as well.

– WWE did not keep JBL and Corbin’s appearances secret, and were included internally all throughout the weekend.

– Duke Hudson of NXT vs. Cedric Alexander was filmed for Main Event, produced by Shawn Daivari

– Cameron Grimes vs. Akira Tozawa was filmed for Main Event, produced by Jason Jordan.

– Plans for Cameron Grimes to appear on Raw were finalized the week prior. We’ve been told plans have been getting done much sooner under the current WWE regime.
