WWE RAW Results for 12/27/21 Street Profits vs The Mysterios, Priest vs Ziggler

Riddle (w/ Randy Orton) vs Chad Gable (w/ Otis)
Chad and Riddle start the match off by grappling before Chad rocks Riddle with strikes and Riddle comes back with forearms before kicking Chad in the corner and Chad hits a dragon screw before focusing on the now injured leg of Riddle. Riddle then comes back with a Final Flash knee into the Floating Bro for the pin and the win.
Winner: Riddle defeats Chad Gable via pinfall.
– After the match Otis attacks Riddle and knocks him out of the ring before beckoning Randy into the ring for their match as we go to commercial.
Randy Orton (w/ Riddle) vs Otis (w/ Chad Gable)
Randy rocks Otis with uppercuts before Otis fights off an RKO and hits a jumping splash before Randy sends Otis into the steps and kicks him when he’s getting back into the ring before hitting a draping DDT and Otis counters an RKO into a front slam. Otis then misses a Vader bomb before Randy hits an RKO for the pin and the win.
Winner: Randy Orton defeats Otis via pinfall.
– Backstage Kevin Owens is interviewed about the Fatal Four Way for the WWE title at Day 1.
Dana Brooke & Reggie vs R-Truth & Tamina
Reggie and Truth start the match off before Tamina comes in and superkicks Reggie before Dana comes in and rocks Tamina with a knee and kicks before hitting a cartwheel dropkick into a twisting senton for two. Tamina then drops Dana with a back elbow before Truth tags himself back in and Dana counters a back suplex and tags in Reggie who pins Truth with a clutch for the win.
Winner: Reggie and Dana Brooke defeat R-Truth and Tamina via pinfall.
– Backstage Nikki A.S.H. is interviewed about her and Rhea’s recent losing streak as we go to commercial.
WWE RAW Tag Team Championship Number One Contender Match
Street Profits vs The Mysterios
Dominik and Montez start the match off before Angelo and Rey come in and run the ropes until Rey hits a head scissors into mounted punches in the corner before Angelo drops Rey with a shoulder block and SP double up on Rey for two. Rey then gets two off of a clutch and doges a dropkick before he and Dominik double up on Montez for two before the Mysterios clear the ring and take out SP at ringside as we go to commercial.
We come back from the break to SP in control of Dominik before Montez misses a splash in the corner and Dominik hits a DDT before tagging in Rey who hits a diving seated senton into a springboard cross body for two. Rey hits a head scissors into a dropkick to Angelo’s knee before Angelo drops him when he goes for a 619 for two before Rey hits a tornado DDT for a near fall that Montez breaks up before everyone hits a move until Angelo hits a butterfly suplex. Montez hits a high angle frog splash across the ring for a near fall that Dominik breaks up before Rey hits a 619 after tagging in Dominik and takes out Angelo at ringside before Dominik hits Montez with a frog splash for a near fall. Dominik then hits Montez with a 619 before superkicking him out of the ring and Angelo sends Rey out of the ring before SP hit an electric chair blockbuster to Dominik for the pin and the win.
Winner: Street Profits defeat The Mysterios to earn an opportunity to face RK-BRO for their RAW Tag Team titles at Day 1.
AJ Styles vs Apollo Crews
AJ takes control early before hitting a jumping splash for two before Apollo comes back with a suplex and a high angle back drop before whipping AJ sternum first into the corner and dropping him across the edge of the apron and booting him at ringside as we go to commercial.
We come back from the break to Apollo in control of AJ before he comes back with a flurry of strikes into a sliding forearm before hitting an ushigoroshi for two before Apollo hits a sit-out powerbomb for a deep two count. AJ hits a moonsault reverse DDT before teasing a Phenomenal Forearm and Azeez pulls Apollo out of the ring before Apollo hits AJ with a DVD onto the apron for a near fall before hitting an enzuigiri and AJ gets a near fall off of a variety of pins. AJ then hits Apollo with a Styles Clash for the pin and the win.
Winner: AJ Styles defeats Apollo Crews via pinfall.
– After the match Azeez gets into the ring to help Apollo up before AJ hits him with a Phenomenal Forearm.
– We get a taped promo by Seth Rollins before Kevin Owens comes out to the ring as we go to commercial.
– We come back from the break to Kevin in the ring as he addresses the title match and being the only one in the aforementioned match at RAW tonight and talks about his plan and how he intends to become the new WWE champion. Kevin is then interrupted by MVP who acts as a proxy for Bobby who is not there tonight where he talks about how Bobby will take out Kevin, Seth, and E to become champion again before Cedric and Shelton come out and lobby MVP to take them back into the Hurt Business.
Cedric Alexander vs Kevin Owens (w/ Shelton Benjamin & MVP)
Kevin backs Cedric into the corner before hitting a senton and a cannonball into the corner before going up top and Cedric rolls out onto the apron before Cedric clotheslines Kevin onto the apron and Kevin rolls back inside before Cedric comes him for two. Kevin hits a suplex onto his knee for two before Cedric counters a Pop-Up Powerbomb and hits an enzuigiri into a suicide dive before tossing Kevin back inside and hitting an enzuigiri into a slingshot flat liner for two. Kevin then comes back with a Pop-Up Powerbomb into a stunner for the pin and the win.
Winner: Kevin Owens defeats Cedric Alexander via pinfall.
– After the match Shelton gets into the ring and gets hit with a stunner.
WWE United States Championship Match
Damian Priest (c) vs Dolph Ziggler
Dolph backs to the ropes when Damian tries to engage before Damian fights off an early attempt at a Zig-Zag and drops Dolph with a boot before dropping him with a stiff forearm and driving his knee into midsection before whipping him into the corner. Dolph dodges a jumping back elbow in the corner before beating on Damian against the ropes and Damian comes back with a jumping back elbow and a clothesline over the top rope before Dolph sends Damian into the barricade and Damian launches Dolph into the time keeper’s area as we go to commercial.
We come back from the break to Dolph in control before Damian comes back with strikes and Dolph hits a famouser for two before Damian comes back with a Broken Arrow for a near fall before hitting South of Heaven and beating on Dolph in the corner past the five count before the referee calls for the bell.
Winner: Dolph Ziggler defeats Damian Priest via disqualification, but Damian Priest retains his United States title due to champions advantage.
– After the match Damian drives Dolph into the barricade and hits The Reckoning onto the floor.
– We go to the ring for the renewal of vows between The Miz and Maryse with Eric Bischoff officiating before they’re interrupted by Edge who makes the ring go red and gives Miz and Maryse a Brood Bath as we go off the air.
