Welcome to Fightful.com‘s live coverage & discussion for Monday Night RAW (3/21/22)!

We’ll be bringing you full, fight-by-fight results of every match on the card.

The show begins and our commentary team of Jimmy Smith, Byron Saxton and Corey Graves welcome us to tonight’s show, which emanates from Chicago, Illinois.

Stone Cold Steve Austin’s music hits and the crowd goes into ballistics! But it’s Kevin Owens who makes his way to the ring in his best Steve Austin cosplay. Owens talks in first-person as if he was Steve Austin and says he’s going to WrestleMania and he’s going to be on The KO Show as the crowd reigns down ‘We want Austin!’ chants and Austin’s music hits again…but Owens starts laughing and it was a ploy all along. Owens calls the crowd idiots and tells someone to throw him some beer, which he doesn’t catch…and he’s thrown a second one, which he also drops. Owens orders production to to stop the music and he starts yelling at the ‘stagehand’ and tells him to get into the ring and to hand him a beer, which he obliges. Owens hits him with a stunner and yells in his face as Austin famously does. Owens opens a pair of beers and dumps it all over the ‘stagehand’. Owens celebrates on all of the turnbuckles and exits.

We then see a video package of Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens’ segment and match from last week before we head backstage where we see Rollins with Kevin Patrick. Kevin asks Rollins how it feels that he won’t be at this year’s WrestleMania, the crowd fires down ‘Cody! Cody! Cody!’ chants, Rollins laughs manically and grabs Patrick’s mic and says he needs to borrow it. Back at the ringside area, Rey and Dominik Mysterio make their way down to the ring and they’ll face NXT Champion Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode after the break.

Seth says he wants a spot on WrestleMania that’ll live forever. Rollins’ mic keeps cutting out and Rollins says he wants the biggest match, his mic cuts off, Rollins says they’re just trying to shut Seth Rollins up and we head to a commercial break. Back from the break, Rollins is gone, Roode’s working over Rey in the ring, Roode knocks Dominik off the apron, scoops Rey, goes for the slam, Rey counters into a tornado DDT and makes the tag to Dominik, who hits a hurricanrana on Roode before sending Ziggler off of the apron. Rey tries to attack Ziggler on the outside, Ziggler avoids, Dominik’s distracted by it and eats a spine-buster from Roode back in the ring, Roode goes for the cover but Dominik kicks out. Dominik rolls Roode up, Roode kicks out, Dominik trips him into the ropes and nails him with the 619 before going up top and drills Roode with a splash and gets the 1-2-3 for the win!

After the match, Ziggler attacks Dominik, Rey goes for the save but Miz comes from behind and plants him on the outside with The Skull Crushing Finale. Miz rips off Rey’s mask and heads out, flaunting the mask, Ziggler and Roode follow behind and Rey throws a towel over his head and we head backstage. Seth Rollins is with Sonya Deville and Adam Pearce. Rollins says they can try and silence him but he’s going to WrestleMania. Deville sayz they gave him a shot against Kevin Owens last week and he failed, not them. Pearce asks Rollins to give them some time and they’ll see what they can do. Rollins laughs and walks away and it’s announced that we’ll take a look at the confrontation from this past Friday’s SmackDown between WWE Champion Brock Lesnar and Universal Champion Roman Reigns after the break.

Back from the break and The Miz is backstage on the phone with Maryse. Kevin Patrick approaches and asks Miz why he removed Rey Mysterio’s mask. Miz says Rey and Dominik have shown he and Logan Paul nothing but disrespect and his intention was never to humiliate Rey but he’s driven him to do so. Miz says the mask is for Logan and he dares Logan to where it when he’s at RAW, next week. We then see a video package of what happened between Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns from this past Friday night on SmackDown. It’s then announced that both Lesnar and Reigns will be on RAW, next Monday night. Omos then makes his way down to the ring and he’ll face Apollo Crews and Commander Azeez after the break.

AJ says he couldn’t even look at his kids or talk to his wife and he turned on Monday Night RAW and saw Edge but truth is, he doesn’t care why Edge did what he did and he’s not there to get answers, he’s there to kick Edge’s teeth down his throat. AJ calls for Edge to come down to the ring. No response, AJ calls Edge a coward and instead, out comes Seth Rollins. Seth tells the crowd to ‘simmer down’ and says ‘rumors are fun but not always true’ in reference to their ‘Cody! Cody! Cody!’ chants. AJ tells Seth to ‘cut the crap’ and asks why he’s out there. Seth says he’s worried about AJ and asks if he’s physically and mentally capable of competing at WrestleMania. Rollins tells AJ to go home to his wife and kids and come back when he’s 100%, after WrestleMania and let him [Seth] do what he should’ve done inside of the Hell In a Cell and that’s end Edge’s career. AJ says ‘hell no’ and as long as he’s able to walk, he’ll be at WrestleMania. Rollins says it certainly would be a shame if something happened to AJ where he couldn’t walk. Seth challenges AJ to a match tonight and if he [Seth] wins, he takes AJ’s spot at WrestleMania. AJ says he’s not stupid and won’t ever give his spot up but after he ‘destroys’ Edge at WrestleMania, he’ll face Rollins. Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville come down. Pearce says Rollins will have ONE final chance and he’ll face AJ, tonight and if Seth wins, he’ll take AJ’s spot at WrestleMania. AJ is livid and attacks Rollins, who slides out of the ring and retreats while laughing maniacally up the entrance ramp.

Becky says she’ll get back to that but while she was out for 15 months, each and every day that went by, it ate at her more and more but she knew she’d get her ‘precious’ back. Becky says the only thing that matters is her title and she’s power, she’s glory and she’s the prize at the top of the mountain. Becky says the title is her world and when she came back and when the fans chose Bianca over her, that’s when she knew she’d sell her soul to keep the title. Becky says Bianca doesn’t have what it takes to beat her and she can whip her with her hair or crush her throat, but she’ll crush hers even worse. Becky says Bianca didn’t mean to injure her, but she sure meant to injure Bianca and that’s the difference between them. Becky says Bianca knows if she takes the thing that matters most to her, she’ll lose a piece of her soul. Becky said Bianca doesn’t want to lose her soul but she’s already lost hers. Becky asks Bianca what it means to her to gain the world but lose her soul. Becky says she’ll show Bianca what it means at WrestleMania…if she even makes it.
