WWE Raw Results For 11/20: The Miz Defends The WWE Intercontinental Title, Paige Is Back With Some New Friends & Jason Jordan Faces Braun Strowman

– Stephanie McMahon makes her way to the ring to start the show, McMahon welcomes everybody to the A show. McMahon talks about how Shane McMahon tried to strike first, but wound up losing in the end of WWE Survivor Series. Stephanie then says that Kurt Angle’s job as Raw GM is safe, Stephanie then brings out Triple H to celebrate. Angle then makes his way to the ring before Triple H can even speak, Angle says he is speaking to Triple H not as the Raw GM because if Triple H ever attacks him again, then he is coming for him.

Stephanie interrupts and says that Angle shouldn’t jeopardize his career anymore, Jason Jordan then makes his way to the ring. Jordan goes face to face with Triple H and Angle gets in between them, Jordan calls Triple H a coward and Triple H takes his jacket off. Stephanie says Triple H isn’t afraid of anyone and that brings out Braun Strowman, Strowman goes face to face with Triple H as well. Triple H eventually backs away from Strowman and he leaves the ring, Stephanie still has the microphone and she makes Jason Jordan versus Braun Strowman for tonight.

– Samoa Joe & Finn Balor are shown walking backstage.

Finn Balor vs. Samoa Joe

The match begins with Joe immediately dropping Balor with strikes as the bell sounds, Joe picks Balor up before nailing him with knee strikes. Balor recovers and he drops Joe in the corner with a drop kick, Balor keeps Joe corners as he swings away at him. Joe recovers and he nails a charging Balor with a running back elbow strike, Joe then works a nerve hold on Balor. Joe releases the hold and he goes to the top rope, Balor nails Joe with an enzaguri then drops him on the arena floor. Balor then takes Joe out with a suicide dive as we go to a commercial break, we return from the break to see Joe yanking backwards on the arms of Balor.

Joe then lands a headbutt in between the shoulder blades of Balor, Joe then traps Balor in the corner before landing an enzaguri for a near fall. Joe reapplies the nerve hold to a downed Balor, Balor uses a jaw breaker to break the hold from Joe before landing a right. Balor then drops a dazed Joe with an overhead kick, Balor goes to the ring apron before dropping Joe with a rope assisted enzaguri. Balor then drops Joe a few more times with some flying forearm strikes, Joe rolls outside the ring and Balor nails him with a baseball slide drop kick.

Balor looks for a penalty kick and Joe trips him up on the ring apron, Joe follows that up by taking Balor out with a suicide dive. Joe gets Balor in the ring before dropping him with an STO for a near fall, Balor recovers and he drops Joe with a sling blade. Joe quickly recovers before dropping Balor and landing a senton for a near fall, Joe goes for a choke and Balor breaks free before landing a double stomp. Balor then hits Joe with a shotgun drop kick before going to the top rope, Joe gets up and he drags Balor off the ropes before applying the rear naked choke and Balor goes out cold.

Winner: Samoa Joe

– WWE Raw GM Kurt Angle is backstage when Jason Jordan appears, Jordan reveals he is still hurt and wants out of the match with Braun Strowman. Jordan decides to go through with the match after talking about Angle’s achievements throughout his life.

Asuka vs. Dana Brooke

The match begins with Asuka attacking Brooke with a few kicks, Asuka then drops Brooke before kicking her in the back. Brooke gets to the ropes and Asuka attacks her with more strikes, Asuka follows that up by locking Brooke in an abdominal stretch while in the ropes. Asuka then hits Brooke with a hip strike that knocks her out of the ring, Asuka controls the arm of Brooke while landing more kicks. Brooke starts fighting back and she also slaps Asuka, Asuka gets angry and she nails Brooke with a ton of strikes. Asuka kicks a kneeling Brooke in the head to get a three count.

Winner: Asuka

– The Miz is in the ring with The Miztourage for another edition of Miz TV, Miz congratulates Baron Corbin on his win at WWE Survivor Series. Miz then introduces Roman Reigns as his guest and nobody comes out, Reigns eventually comes out with the rest of The Shield. Miz gives The Shield some attitude because he only wanted Reigns as his guest tonight, Rollins says they proved they are the most dominant three man team in WWE history. Miz wants a thank you from The Shield for bringing them back together again, The Shield refuses to thank Miz.

Miz also demands a residual check for the new merchandise The Shield recently put out, Miz also calls The Shield ungrateful. Reigns brings up how The Shield won at WWE Survivor Series and how Miz lost, Miz says he is the only champion in the ring. Reigns then challenges Miz to a WWE Intercontinental Title Match, Bo Dallas grabs the microphone and he says The Shield must go through The Miztourage first. The Shield attack The Miztourage as The Miz makes his escape, Rollins then hits Axel with a knee strike followed by Dirty Deeds from Ambrose. The Shield then hit Dallas with a triple power bomb.

– Charly Caruso interviews Braun Strowman, who says it is good that Jason Jordan isn't afraid of him because Triple H is afraid.

Dean Ambrose w/Seth Rollins vs. Sheamus w/Cesaro

The match begins with Sheamus and Ambrose doing some chain wrestling, Ambrose gets Sheamus down with an arm drag before wrenching away on his arm. Sheamus breaks free and he nails Ambrose with a few strikes, Ambrose goes down and Sheamus clobbers him with a knee drop. Ambrose goes to the ring apron and he drops Sheamus neck first on the top rope, Ambrose goes for a rebound lariat and Sheamus kicks him in the face as we go to a commercial break. We return from the break to see Sheamus holding Ambrose in the stretch muffler, Sheamus transitions the hold into a power bomb for a near fall.

Sheamus pulls back on the injured arm of Ambrose, Ambrose breaks free and Sheamus quickly drops him with a clothesline. Sheamus catches Ambrose with a few suplex slams for a near fall, Ambrose escapes a suplex before catching Sheamus with a few strikes. Ambrose then sends a charging Sheamus into the ring post, Ambrose waits for Sheamus to get up before attacking him with a series of clotheslines. Sheamus recovers and drops a charging Ambrose with a boot to the face, Sheamus goes to the top rope and Ambrose knocks him off to the arena floor.

Ambrose looks for a dive and Sheamus catches him with a forearm strike, Ambrose recovers and he knocks Sheamus back out of the ring. Ambrose then catches Sheamus with a suicide dive, Cesaro attacks Rollins from behind and that briefly distracts Ambrose. Ambrose eventually nails Sheamus with a drop toe hold into the ropes, Ambrose goes to the top rope and Cesaro distracts him. Sheamus then meets Ambrose on the top rope, Sheamus nails Ambrose with a super Finlay roll for a near fall. Sheamus goes for the Brogue Kick and Rollins distracts him by attacking Cesaro, Ambrose nails Sheamus with the Dirty Deeds for the three count.

Winner: Dean Ambrose w/Seth Rollins

– Matt Hardy is shown in the locker room when Jason Jordan approaches him, Jordan tells him he is confident he can defeat Braun Strowman. Jordan asks Hardy for advice and Hardy tells Jordan that Strowman is a real monster, Hardy says tonight will not be Jordan’s night.

– WWE Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss makes her way to the ring, Bliss says she has been reading all the messages everybody has sent her since WWE Survivor Series. Bliss says she took Charlotte to her limit and the only reason Charlotte won is because she got lucky, Bliss then says that 2017 has been her year. Mickie James interrupts and she has a microphone in hand, James is wondering who else is sick of hearing what Bliss has to say. James says Survivor Series is over and she is now focused on regaining the title, Bayley comes out as well and she has a microphone as well.

Bayley says she agrees with Bliss in that 2017 was her year, Bayley says the year isn’t over yet and she wants a title shot. Sasha Banks then comes out and she also has a microphone, Banks says that Raw deserves a better women’s champion and that is herself. Alicia Fox comes out next and she also has a microphone, Fox then says the captain of the Raw Survivor Series women’s team should get the title shot. Bliss calls all of the women a waste of her time and none of them deserve a title shot before walking away, WWE Raw GM Kurt Angle arrives and he makes a Fatal 4 Way #1 Contenders Match that will happen next.

WWE Raw Women’s Title #1 Contenders Match

Bayley vs. Mickie James vs. Sasha Banks vs. Alicia Fox

The match began during the commercial break and Bayley rolls up Banks as the commercial break ends, Bayley then backs Banks into the corner before landing a suplex for a near fall. James hits the ring and Fox takes her out with a drop kick, Banks catches Fox in the Bank Statement until Bayley breaks it up. Banks catches Bayley with a knee strike that sends her out of the ring, James then hits Banks with a neck breaker for a near fall. Banks and James take each other out with a double clothesline, Paige comes out and she poses on the entrance ramp with a microphone in hand.

Paige wonders if everybody missed her and then proclaims that she is back, Paige says she didn’t come alone and then she makes her way to the ring. Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville come out and attack everybody in the ring.

Match Result: No Contest

After the match, Bayley tries to fight the women off and Paige lays her out with a super kick, Fox runs away as Deville turns the attention to her. Rose then hits James with a sit out face buster, Paige then hits Bayley with a Rampaige.

– Paige, Sonya Deville & Mandy Rose are interviewed backstage by Renee Young, Alexa Bliss interrupts the interview and sends Young away. Paige introduces her friends to Bliss, but they eventually jump Bliss and beat her up badly backstage.

Braun Strowman vs. Jason Jordan

The match begins with Jordan slapping Strowman in the face, Jordan then hightails it out of the ring as Strowman gets mad. Jordan gets in the ring and Strowman misses a charge in the corner, Jordan tries lifting Strowman up and he hurts himself. Strowman then tosses Jordan across the ring before landing an avalanche, Strowman goes for a power slam and Jordan escapes before apparently injuring his knee. Kane appears from behind Strowman and he attacks him with multiple chair shots.

Winner: Braun Strowman, by DQ

After the match, Kane continues attacking Strowman with chair shots as Strowman falls out of the ring, Kane then smashes Strowman’s face into the ring steps. Kane puts the chair against Strowman’s throat before shoving him into the ring steps, WWE officials come out and attempt to help Strowman.

– WWE Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore makes his way to the ring with Drew Gulak, Noam Dar, Tony Nese & Ariya Daivari. Amore has a microphone and he does his usual shtick on it, Amore wants all the members of the Zo Train to tell everybody what they are thankful. Enzo says the women cannot stay away from Dar, while Nese has gained more abs since joining the team. Enzo then says that Daivari’s bank account has grown since joining the team, while Gulak has been able to reach out to more people with his power points since joining the team.

They are eventually interrupted by Rich Swann, Cedric Alexander, Akira Tozawa and Mustafa Ali, Enzo does his best to keep everybody at bay. Enzo is under the impression that the other four wrestlers want to join the Zo Train, Alexander says they are not here to join the Zo Train and they want a shot at the WWE Cruiserweight Title. Swann says Enzo is nothing without the Zo Train backing him up, a huge brawl breaks out between everybody in the ring. Enzo escapes the brawl and he watches from ringside as we go to a commercial break.

Rich Swann, Cedric Alexander, Akira Tozawa & Mustafa Ali vs. The Zo Train (Tony Nese, Drew Gulak, Noam Dar & Ariya Daivari) w/Enzo Amore

The match begins during the commercial break and Gulak holds Swann in a headlock as we return from said break, Gulak releases the hold to drop Swann with a shoulder tackle. Swann recovers and Enzo drags Gulak out of the ring to help him avoid punishment, Gulak then catches Swann with a knee strike for a near fall. Daivari tags in and he works with Gulak to hit Swann with a double suplex, Daivari slows things down by holding Swann in a chin lock. Dar tags in and Swann sends him into the turnbuckles, Nese drags Swann out of the ring and Swann kicks him in the head.

Alexander tags in and he quickly hits Dar with a springboard clothesline, Tozawa hits the ring and he takes out Gulak with a suicide dive. Ali tags in as Alexander nails Dar with an handspring enzaguri, Ali nails Dar with the 054 splash for the three count.

Winners: Rich Swann, Cedric Alexander, Akira Tozawa & Mustafa Ali

– Renee Young is outside the trainers room when Raw GM Kurt Angle arrives, Angle says Strowman has left the building and he goes to check on the injured Jason Jordan. The Miz arrives in the trainers room to complain about having to defend the title tonight, Angle sends him away. 

– Elias is in the ring and he wants to know just who will walk with Elias, then he performs a new song for everybody. Matt Hardy interrupts and he makes his way to the ring, Elias jumps Hardy as he enters the ring and Hardy tries fighting back. Hardy goes for a Twist Of Fate and Elias escapes up the entrance ramp.  

WWE Intercontinental Title Match

The Miz (Champion) vs. Roman Reigns

The match begins with Miz rolling out of the ring and he tries getting counted out, Reigns chases Miz into the ring before dropping him with a right. Miz gets to the ring apron before dropping Reigns neck first on the top rope, Reigns goes for a roll up before nailing him with a sit out power bomb as we go to a commercial break. We return from the break to see Miz and Reigns down on the mat, Reigns gets up first and he drops Miz with multiple clotheslines. Reigns traps Miz in the corner before landing clothesline strikes, Reigns then drops Miz with a boot to the face.

Reigns sets up for a superman punch and Miz gets out of the ring, Reigns goes for another superman punch and Miz nails him with a DDT on the arena floor. Miz waits for Reigns to get in the ring before landing another DDT for a near fall, Miz slows things down further by holding Reigns in a chin lock. Reigns gets free and Miz drops him with a neck breaker for another near fall, Miz drags Reigns to the ropes before choking him on one. Miz traps Reigns in the corner before landing multiple running drop kicks, Reigns eventually sends a charging Miz to the arena floor.

Miz gets back in the ring and Reigns drops him with a right, Reigns then propels a charging Miz into the turnbuckle. Miz quickly recovers and he drops Reigns with a knee lift to the midsection, Miz then attacks Reigns with the It Kicks. Reigns recovers and catches Miz with a Samoan drop for a near fall, Reigns sets up for the superman punch and Miz avoids it. Miz trips up Reigns and lands a kick to the head for a near fall, Miz gets angry and he stomps away on Reigns. Miz follows that up by nailing Reigns with a diving clothesline in the corner, Miz then leaps off the top rope and Reigns nails him with a superman punch for a near fall.

Reigns again sets up for the spear and The Bar make their way to the ring, Miz hits a distracted Reigns with a Skull Crushing Finale for a near fall. The Shield come out and brawl with The Bar, Reigns hits Miz with the spear for the three count.

Winner: Roman Reigns, the new WWE Intercontinental Champion
