WWE Raw 8/6 Viewership Slightly Dips Despite In-Ring Debut Of Ronda Rousey
The Raw rating held steady on Monday, averaging 2.8 million viewers across the three hours. The show averaged 2.9 million viewers last week. After and up-and-down July that saw a historic low, this gets the show off to a strong start in August. The in-ring debut of Ronda Rousey was certainly a big selling point for the show, although the third hour actually saw the lowest viewership numbers.
All three hours finished in in the top five among cable originals. Love & Hip Hop Hollywood beat out all three hours.
Hourly breakdown from Showbuzz Daily:
Hour 1: 2.83 million viewers, .94 rating in 18-49 demographic
Hour 2: 2.85 million viewers, .94 rating in 18-49 demographic
Hour 3: 2.72 million viewers, .91 rating in 18-49 demographic
Not surprisingly, Ronda Rousey’s Raw debut against Alica Fox tops WWE’s YouTube viewership. The match currently sits at 1.8 million views. Paul Heyman’s fantastic sit down interview with Renee Young is the only other video with other a million views. The opening segment between Roman Reigns, Kurt Angle and Constable Corbin and the Reigns vs. Corbin match that followed are third and fourth respectively.
