WWE Raw (6/19/23) Results: Logan Paul Returns, Seth Rollins Defends World Title, MITB Qualifier

– Rollins is in the ring for his open challenge. Rollins is attacked by Finn Balor, who comes behind him. Balor leaves Rollins by the announcer’s desk. Referees and officials drag away Balor. Balor dashes to ringside, leaps off the ring steps, and hits a Coup de Grace . Balor leaps from the announcer’s chair and executes another double stomp. Balor returns to the ring for a third Coup de Grace.
– Back from break, Balor jumps Rollins backstage.
– The Miz has a microphone in-ring. Miz was supposed to accept Rollins’ open challenge, but that is no longer the case. Miz has launched his own open challenge. He’s going to teach the WWE Universe what it means to be a winner. Tommaso Ciampa’s music hits. Ciampa enters the ring with Miz. Miz is overjoyed thinking Ciampa’s his friend. Ciampa lands a right hand on Miz, and the bells rings.
Tommaso Ciampa vs. The Miz
Ciampa with kicks, and they fall to the ground. Ciampa hits Miz and knocks him down to the announce table. Ciampa repositions the announce table and suplexes Miz on the hood. They make their way back to the ring. Ciampa utilizes corner clotheslines and a running clothesline. Ciampa lowers his knee pad but misses a running knee to the head. Miz with a DDT. Miz smashes Ciampa to the ground and follows up with a boot to the head. Miz with a boot to the head and Ciampa with a chop. Ciampa unleashes a barrage of blows. Miz nails a Clothesline. As Miz comes off the turnbuckles, Ciampa knees him. Ciampa triumphs with Fairytale Ending.
Winner: Tommaso Ciampa
– Judgment Day stands on the stage. Finn informs Seth that his little challenge has been canceled. It’s been canceled as a result of his attack. Finn says he is the only one who can dethrone him by winning the World Championship. Finn says if fans enjoy singing his song, they will sing it at his burial. Rhea and Damian provide their thoughts on the Money in the Bank pay-per-view. Dom begins to speak but suddenly pauses due to the roaring boos from the crowd. He tells Cody Rhodes to look for two partners for a match with Judgment Day tonight.
– Backstage, Kevin Owens becomes agitated as Byron Saxton asks about The Bloodline. Zayn explains to Owens that he has a rage issue. Owens needs to be convinced. Zayn bets Owens that he’ll leave things alone if he can’t blow up the rest of the night. If Owens cannot do so, he must acknowledge that he has a problem.
– A TikTok compilation shows Chelsea Green being a Karen.
Sonya Deville & Chelsea Green vs. Kayden Carter & Katana Chance
The action begins with Chance and Deville. Deville unleashes a boot as the bell rings. Chance and Sonya with a bicycle kick and then she kicks Chance in the corner. Green tags in and she chokes Chance. Green nails a short-arm clothesline. Green knocks Carter off the apron. Carter tags in and she hits a clothesline on both women in the corner. Carter hits a dropkick to Sonya into a splash to Green. Chance and Carter do a springboard moonsault and leg drop combo. Chance and Carter then win with a 450 Splash-Neckbreaker combo.
Winners: Kayden Carter and Katana Chance
– Cathy Kelley then introduces Cody Rhodes. Kelley questions Rhodes about Judgment Day’s challenge for a six-man tag team battle later tonight, and Rhodes claims he’ll find two partners with no problem.
Indus Sher (w/ Jinder Mahal) vs. Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander
Benjamin strikes Sanga with his knee. Benjamin and Alexander work together to take down Mahaan. Sanga slams Alexander on the outside, but Benjamin scores a Blockbuster off the apron. Mahaan plants him with a splash. Sanga enters the fray and lands a boot as Mahaan holds Shelton in place. Indus Sher hits Demolition Decapitation for the win.
Winners: Indus Sher
– Kevin and Sami are walking backstage when someone stumbles into Kevin and spills water on him. Kevin says it’s OK. He claims to have an idiot issue rather than an anger one. They approach Matt Riddle. Riddle starts talking about movies. Kevin grits his teeth and tells him they are wonderful movies and wishes him luck in his match.
– Logan Paul appears in the ring on a ladder and says he has been added to the Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match. The other contestants arrive, and a melee starts. Logan Paul stands tall in the end.
Ludwig Kaiser vs. Matt Riddle
Riddle and Kaiser exchange holds. Kaiser executes a sequence of chops. Kaiser fails to land a blow. Riddle’s response is a series of gut-wrench suplexes. Riddle ejects Kaiser from the ring. Kaiser tripped Riddle and hits a suplex off the apron after a distraction by Gunther. Riddle lands a springboard after the break. Riddle’s Floating Bro. Fisherman’s suplex. Kaiser walks away. Riddle experiments with a springboard. Riddle gets caught in midair by Kaiser, who hits a Rolling Senton. Riddle wins by surprising Kaiser with Bro Derek.
– Gunther assaults Riddle after the contest.
– Back from the break, we see Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn backstage. Imperium approaches them, and Owens wants to know what. Kaiser hopes that they witnessed what he did to Riddle and warns them that if they are not cautious, the same thing would happen to them. Owens asks Kaiser why he drags out his words. Zayn cuts him off and says they have to go.
Alpha Academy (w/ Maxxine Dupri) vs. Viking Raiders (w/ Valhalla)
Gable hits a Suplex before Ivar and Otis come in. Otis knocks Ivar down, but Ivar responds with a spinning heel kick. Erik tags in and wears Otis down before re-tagging Ivar. Otis suplexes Ivar and then tags in Gable. Erik tags in, and Gable hits him with a kick to the belly, followed by a Rolling Neckbreaker and an Exploder Suplex. Gable makes his way to the top. He does a Moonsault, taking out both of The Raiders. Gable attempts for a pin with a diving headbutt, but Erik kicks out. Valhalla distracts Gable, but Dupri floors her with an outside suplex. Erik wins by kicking Gable.
– Natalya explains backstage that she’s trying to find out where she belongs in here after being decimated by Ripley. Tonight, she’ll prove to everyone that she still belongs.
– Ripley jumps Natalya, and their match never gets started. She is launched into the barricade and the ring steps repeatedly. Ripley hits Riptide as officials come down to check on Natalya.
Money in the Bank Qualifying Match: Raquel Rodriguez vs. Trish Stratus
Stratus scores a couple hits. Stratus attempts with a Lou Thez Press. Rodriguez turns it into a bear hug. Stratus is ragdolled by Rodriguez. Rodriguez is tripped on the apron by Stark. Status suffers a near-fall. Becky Lynch rushes to the ring and assaults Stark. Stratus approaches Lynch and gets ushered into the barricade. The referee rings the bell. Lynch has mistakenly gotten Rodriguez.
Winner: Trish Stratus
Lynch attempts to apologize after the contest. Rodriguez is enraged.
– Bron Breakker claims that he will defeat Seth Rollins for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship tomorrow despite Seth Rollins not being cleared for action tonight.
Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Bronson Reed
When the bell sounds, Nakamura delivers a running knee and a snapmare, followed by a knee to the neck. Reed responds with a splash and an elbow drop, then a headbutt and a German suplex as Ricochet walks down to ringside.
Nakamura with a knee off the top rope. Reed does a powerslam before dropping a powerbomb. The action spills outside, and Reed whips Nakamura into the chair Ricochet had taken ringside. Ricochet kicks at Reed, who tosses Nakamura into the ring. Nakamura lunges toward Reed, but he accidentally strikes Ricochet. This allows Reed to deliver Tsunami for the win.
– Seth Rollins says he doesn’t care about doctor’s orders. He will be at WWE NXT Gold Rush.
Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn & Cody Rhodes vs. Judgment Day (Dominik Mysterio, Damian Priest & Finn Balor)
The action begins with Balor and Rhodes. When the bell rings, the two are locked up. Balor throws a back elbow, but Rhodes pushes him up onto his shoulders and lands him. Dominik enters the ring, but slides out and taunts Rhodes. He returns inside and tags out to Priest, while Rhodes tags out to Zayn. In the corner, Priest stomps Zayn, but Zayn responds with an elbow drop off the middle rope. Dominik enters, and Zayn fires right hands. Dominik prepares to hit the Three Amigos, but Zayn counters with a suplex of his own.
Both Rhodes and Owens are tagged at the same time . Rhodes follows a powerslam with a Disaster Kick for a near-fall. Rhodes prepares the Cody Cutter. Ripley climbs onto the apron to break things up. Everyone fights. Ripley catches Dominik when he falls off the apron. Zayn leaps over Ripley to perform a tope on Dominik. Dominik receives the Helluva Kick from Zayn. Dominik is sent to Owens for a Stunner by Zayn. For the victory, Rhodes hits Crossroads on Priest.
Winners: Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn & Cody Rhodes
