WWE Raw 12/31 Viewership Still Under 2 Million Viewers On New Year’s Eve

WWE Raw viewership saw an increase on New Year’s Eve, but the total remains under two million viewers.

ShowBuzzDaily reports that the Dec. 31 episode of Raw averaged 1,968,000 viewers. This number is up from last week’s Christmas Eve episode, which averaged 1,775,000 viewers, an all-time low for the company. Monday’s episode of Raw was a taped episode and aired on New Year’s Eve, so it’s once again unfair to hold the numbers against the company. Raw will be live for the first time in two weeks on Jan. 7.

The show averaged a 0.57 rating in the 18-49 demographic, up from last week’s 0.55. The first hour of Raw finished fourth among cable originals while the second hour was sixth and the final hour was eighth. College football on ESPN won the night on cable.

Hourly breakdown

Hour 1: 2.03 million viewers, .61 rating in 18-49 demographic

Hour 2: 2.02 million viewers, .60 rating in 18-49 demographic

Hour 3: 1.84 million viewers, .52 rating in 18-49 demographic
