WWE Provides Injury Update On Madcap Moss; Happy Corbin Explains His Actions

WWE has provided an injury update on Madcap Moss.

During the May 13 episode of SmackDown, Moss was attacked in the ring by his former friend, Happy Corbin. The segment ended with Corbin pinning Moss’ head in between a folded chair and using the Andre the Giant Memorial Trophy to “crush” his throat. Madcap was stretchered away and brought to a local hospital.

On the newest edition of Talking Smack, it was revealed that Moss has sustained a “Cervical Contusion,” though no additional details were provided. Happy Corbin then spoke about his actions, saying he does what makes him happy.

“I mean, I’m here for a good time. I’m happy. I’m happy for a reason and doing that to Madcap Moss after he somehow pulled out some miraculous victory at WrestleMania Backlash, well, that made me happy. That’s why I did it. That’s my explanation. I’m going to go out there and do whatever it takes to make me happy,” Corbin said.

The two men had a falling out following WrestleMania 38 when Corbin blamed Moss for his loss to Drew McIntyre while also diminishing Madcap’s Battle Royal victory. They fought earlier this month at WrestleMania Backlash with Madcap picking up the win.
