WWE Postpones Monday’s SmackDown Live Event In Kanas
WWE postpones another SmackDown live event.
Mike Johnson at PWInsider reports that WWE made the decision this afternoon to postpone the May 27 (Monday) SmackDown live event. The event was scheduled to take place at Tony’s Pizza Events Center in Salina, Kansas and has been rescheduled for Oct. 26.
The following statement was issued by KSAL in Salina.
A professional wrestling event which was scheduled for Monday in Salina has been postponed, and rescheduled for later this fall.
WWE SmackDown Live at the Tony’s Pizza Events Center has been rescheduled to Saturday, October 26th.
All tickets purchased for the Salina, KS live event will be honored on Saturday October 26th. Fans that cannot attend the rescheduled date should go to their point of purchase for refunds
This marks three of the last four weeks where WWE has postponed the Monday SmackDown live event in order to utilize the Wild Card rule, which allows SmackDown talent to appear on Raw.
Fightful will provide live coverage of WWE Raw on Monday beginning at 8 p.m. ET followed by a post-show podcast.
