WWE is looking for the next generation of stars, and the company has reportedly offered a deal to a prospect after its latest tryout.
On November 30 and Dec 1, WWE held a two-day tryout at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida, as part of the company’s Campus Rush tour. 30 athletes participated, and at least one of them has been offered a deal by the company.
Per ABC Action News, WWE offered a developmental deal to Melanie Brzezenski, who attended the two-day tryout. Brzezenski is a bodybuilder, and she attended the University of Tampa. In the story, Brzezenski was quoted as saying that getting to WWE has been her top goal, as she wants to be a star.
“I got a personal trainer back in July, and I said to him that I have one goal and one goal only. That is to get into the WWE… I was like, I’m ready. I want to do this. I want to be on the camera, and I want to be a star,” Brzezenski said.
The story noted that Brzezenski selected “Rosie Ray” as a potential on-screen name, and she had applied six times to qualify for the tryout.
Darrien Grant, a former Former USF football player, was also quoted by ABC Action News, but the story specified that Brzezenski was offered a developmental deal.
