The show was headlined by Trick Williams challenging for the NXT Championship against Ilja Dragunov in a Title vs Career. The full results are listed below.

WWE NXT Spring Breakin’ Night One (4/23/2024).

  • Vic Joseph & Booker T welcomed the audience to the broadcast before transitioning into the opening match.
  • NXT Women’s Championship – Triple Threat Match: Roxanne Perez (c) def. Tatum Paxley & Lyra Valkyria via Pinfall (Sunset Bridge)
  • There was a vignette of Jade Cargill, Grayson Waller, Rey Mysterio, Bobby Lashley, LA Knight, Cody Rhodes, Shawn Michaels, and Paul Levesque predicting the result of the match between Ilja Dragunov & Trick Williams in the main event of tonight.
  • Fallon Henley, Thea Hail & Kelani Jordan spoke backstage, where she revealed that she would face Jacy Jayne next week. Hail said that she was thankful for having good friends around her. Jaida Parker confronted Fallon Henley, which led to an argument between the two.
  • There was a vignette for the team of Tyreek Igwe & Tyson Dupont, who will make their NXT debut next week. 
  • Kelly Kincaid interviewed the returning Diamond Mine (Ivy Nile, Julius Creed & Brutus Creed). They provided their support for Trick Williams ahead of his match tonight.
  • The D’Angelo Family (Tony D’Angelo, Luca Crusifino & Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo) (w/ Adrianna Rizzo) def. No Quarter Catch Crew (Damon Kemp, Myles Bourne & Charlie Dempsey) via Pinfall (Standing Ovation Slam).
  • Baron Corbin filming a backstage promo, but he was interrupted by Lexis King with a goodbye basket. Corbin said that he may not leave NXT, which King proceeded to extend an offer to be his new tag partner. Corbin was not amused and said that King’s beard was not real.
  • Jaida Parker (w/ Bronco Lima, Lucien Price & SCRYPTS) def. Fallon Henley via Pinfall (Hip Check).
  • Jacy Jayne was with Jasmyn Nyx to cut a promo. Jayne said that Hail should be kissing the ground she walked through but promised to show that gratitude was something that was owed to her. 
  • There was a vignette narrated by Lola Vice talking about her feud with Natalya. Vice said that while Natalya was here trying to be a legend, Vice promised to become a legend at Natalya’s expense. 
  • JD McDonagh was interviewed by Kelly Kincaidd to speak about the match between Ilja Dragunov and Trick Williams, where he said that the key for Williams to win was to hospitalize Dragunov. After McDonagh left, New Catch Republic (Pete Dunne & Tyler Bate) met with Kelly Kincaid, where they predicted that Trick Williams would win tonight.
  • Lola Vice and Natalya (w/ Karmen Petrovic) came to the ring for the contract signing for their NXT Underground Match. Natalya told Vice she would tap her out, but Vice said that it would be unlikely based on who her training partner was. Vice revealed that her partner was none other than Shayna Baszler. After a brief brawl, Natalya & Petrovic tossed Vice & Baszler out of the ring. 
  • Ridge Holland was interviewed in the NXT Parking Lot but was confronted by Shawn Spears. Spears told Holland to embrace what he wanted to do, but Holland said that he would not fall for his game. 
  • The Final Testament (Karrion Kross, Akem, Rezar, Scarlett & Paul Ellering) cut a promo backstage. Kross said they would be taking everyone to the old days and sending anyone who gets in their way six feet under. Akem & Rezar promised to take the tag titles from Axiom and Nathan Frazer before Paul Ellering declared that they were coming for all the titles.
  • Axiom, Nathan Frazer, Edris Enofe & Malik Blade watched The Final Testament’s promo before The Good Brothers (“The Big LG” Luke Gallows & “The Machine Gun” Karl Anderson) interrupted and declared that they were still gunning the titles. Malik Blade then accidentally pushed a mirror to the ground.  
  • Beach Brawl: Sol Ruca def. Blair Davenport via Pinfall (Sol Snatcher).
  • There was a backstage segment with Trick Williams speaking with his mom, where his mom asked him to “Whoop that trick” tonight. After that, Johnny Gargano met with Williams and told him to use the betrayal from Carmelo Hayes and that rage from that situation as a weapon because Ilja Dragunov had not beaten that version of Trick Williams. 
  • There was a TikTok of The MetaFour (Jakara Jackson, Lash Legend, Noam Dar & Oro Mensah) blogging their travels before a house show from this past weekend. 
  • Lexis King def. Baron Corbin via Pinfall (Low Blow into The Coronation Neck Breaker).
  • Johnny Gargano, Diamond Mine (Julius Creed, Brutus Creed & Ivy Nile) & New Catch Republic (Pete Dunne & Tyler Bate) appeared in the crowd to watch the main event match. 
  • Ilja Dragunov was interviewed backstage by Sarah Schreiber, where he said that he was going to retain and prove why he was Unbesiegbar. Damian Priest met with Damian Priest, who wished him luck.
  • Trick Williams was interviewed by Byron Saxton ahead of the main event, where Williams said that if he could not be the people’s champion he was out. Williams promised to whoop that trick.
  • WWE NXT Championship vs. NXT Career: Trick Williams def. Ilja Dragunov (c) via Pinfall (Trick Shot Knee Strike).
    • With this victory, Trick Williams got to stay in NXT and was crowned the new NXT Champion. Dragunov gave Williams the title after the match before they embraced. Williams celebrated with the fans to end the broadcast.
