WWE NXT Live Coverage & Discussion 2/22 NXT Women’s Number One Contender Triple Threat Match & More!

This is the Fightful.com live coverage for tonight's episode of WWE NXT! Tonight in our main event we have a number one contender triple threat match where the winner will face off against Asuka next. After squaring off in the United Kingdom Championship Tournament, Pete Dunne and Mark Andrews look to continue their rivalry and much more so be sure to come back here at 8PM EST for all of the action!

NXT Women's Championship Number One Contender Triple Threat Match

Everyone starts off aggressive then Liv sends Moon into Royce before Peyton sends Liv out, then Moon dropkicks Peyton out of the ring. Billie tends to Peyton at ringside before Ember dives out onto Liv, only for Peyton to throw her into the stairs as we go to commercial.

We come back to Peyton and Liv exchanging pinfalls then Peyton puts Liv into a variation of the tarantula in the ropes. Peyton stomps on Liv then chokes her in the ropes before dropkicking Moon when she tries to get back into the ring. Moon tries to get back in yet again, only for Peyton to dropkick her off the apron and into the barricade before she and Liv exchange strikes with Peyton getting the upper hand. Peyton hits a roundhouse kick then Liv makes her comeback with a bulldog then Moon gets back in and hits Liv with a series of kicks before Liv hits her with a head scissor takeover that sends her back out of the ring. Peyton catches Liv on the top rope then they all three do a tower of doom spot before Kay comes in and gets Eclipsed by Moon, Liv sending her right back out of the ring immediately after. Peyton then uses the distraction to hit Liv with a fisherman's suplex for the pin and the win.

Winner: Peyton Royce via pinfall

-We then get video packages for Pete Dunne, Kassius Ohno and an update on Shinsuke Nakamura

Mark Andrews vs Pete Dunne

Dunne drops Mark immediately and does some joint manipulation on his fingers and even his nose. Mark hits a sunset dropkick that sends Pete out of the ring to regroup, but Mark immediately goes for a moonsault; Pete catching him, but Mark countering with an arm drag onto the floor. Once they're back in the ring Pete grounds the high flyer and focuses on his arm and his fingers yet again. They redo the going to the outside and Mark goes for another moonsault, but Pete gets out the way and pushes Mark face first into the ring post before stomping on his hand on the steps. Mark then hits a inverted release suplex onto the apron as we go to commercial.

Pete is in control as we come back, focusing on twisting and bending the fingers of Mark before bending him backwards by the roof of his mouth. Pete tosses Mark out of the ring then Mark makes his comeback, hitting a sunset double foot stomp then a springboard huricanrrana into a standing shooting star press for a near fall. Pete hits Mark in mid air with a right hand then hits the inverted release suplex for a near fall of his own. Mark hits Pete with an enzuigiri, but Pete catches Mark running the ropes with him own before hitting Pete with a reverserrana. Pete hits a snap German suplex, but Mark counters into a roll up for a very close near fall, then Pete hits Mark with a stiff forearm to the face. Mark then hits a stunner and a shooting star press, but Pete gets his knees up and hits Mark with The Bitter End for the pin and the win.

Winner: Pete Dunne via pinfall

Bobby Roode vs No Way Jose

They start off by exchanging wrist locks and dancing then Jose hits Roode with a series of right hands before Roode hits a spinebuster as we go to commercial.

We come back to Roode in control, playing to the crowd and raking as Jose's eyes in the corner before stomping on him. Jose makes his comeback then hits a flapjack into a uranage for a near fall. Roode then counters the Fire Ball into a DDT for the pin and the win.

Winner: Bobby Roode via pinfall
