WWE NXT Results for 11/20/19 Adam Cole vs Dominik Dijakovic WarGames Advantage Ladder Match
The NXT champion takes on Dominik Dijakovic in a ladder match and The Revival goes head to head with The Undisputed Era!
Hey Fight Fans, we hope you’re ready for tonight’s go home edition of WWE NXT before NXT TakeOver: WarGames this Saturday night!
-We open the show with WWE RAW Women’s champion Becky Lynch where she discusses her triple threat match against NXT Women’s champion Shayna Baszler and the Smackdown Women’s champion at Survivor Series this Sunday night. Becky says that she was coming to NXT regardless of the open invitation by Triple H and talks about how Sasha Banks is holding Bayley back and that Shayna can bring Duke and Shafir with her and that she won’t attack her from behind before Rhea Ripley comes out. Rhea steps to Becky and says that if she’s the man, they should see if she has a set of balls before they’re separated by a referee and a match is made right there.
Becky Lynch vs Rhea Ripley
Becky drops Rhea with a flying shoulder tackle before they end up out of the ring and at ringside where Rhea gets Becky up in an electric chair and drops her face first across the apron as we go to commercial.
We come back to Rhea in control before Becky hits an inverted DDT and they exchange strikes on their knees and on their feet until Rhea slams Becky to the mat for a quick two count. Rhea gets a two count off of a small package before Becky hits an enzuigiri and Rhea rolls her up before Becky locks in the Disarmer and Rhea rolls through. Becky counters a powerbomb into a huricanrrana before Rhea hits a superplex and everyone is attacked by the Horsewomen for the double disqualification.
Winner: No Contest due to double interference.
-After the match the Horsewomen attack Rhea and Becky before they join together and take our Baszler and company as we go to commercial.
-Kona Reeves comes out for a match before he’s attacked by Ricochet and Matt Riddle comes out to set up a match between the two, Riddle being Kona’s original opponent.
Ricochet vs Matt Riddle
Ricochet hits a huricanrrana into a dropkick that sends Matt out of the ring before hitting a tope and a standing shooting star press. Matt goes for an armbar before Ricochet counters and Matt hits a senton before hitting running forearms in the corner into an exploder suplex for a two count. They counter each other until Ricochet hits a northern lights suplex into a spinning neckbreaker and a standing shooting star press for a near fall. They exchange until Matt hits a release German suplex and Shinsuke Nakamura and Cesaro jump up on the apron before Matt rolls Ricochet up for the pin and the win.
Winner: Matt Riddle defeats Ricochet via pinfall with a roll up.
-Matt and Ricochet send Cesaro out of the ring before Shinsuke drops Matt and Roderick Strong attacks Shinsuke before Finn Bálor comes out and brawls with Matt until Riddle sends Finn out of the ring with the Final Flash before we get a video package Damian Priest and cut to the Undisputed Era backstage getting ready for their match against The Revival as we go to commercial.
The Revival vs The Undisputed Era
Kyle and Scott start things off for their respective teams before Fish and Wilder come in and Dash fights off both Fish and O’Reilly before the four men square off and brawl. Everyone then spills to the outside as we go to commercial.
We return to Fish beating on Wilder in the corner with punches and kicks before UE hit a double suplex for a quick one count and isolate Dash in their half of the ring, essentially cutting the ring in half. Kyle and Bobby do their best to keep Wilder on the mat before Bobby locks in a standing guillotine and Dash gets to the ropes for the break before falling out of the ring. Kyle tosses Dash back into the ring and gets a two count before Dash gets a two count off of an inside cradle and hits a back suplex to Fish before Kyle knocks Scott from the apron. UE then hit Chasing the Dragon for a near fall before Kyle dropkicks Wilder out of the ring and hits a diving knee off of the apron as we go to commercial.
Dash hits Kyle with a powerslam and sends Fish over the top rope and down onto the floor before Scott drops Fish with strikes and a single leg dropkick before hitting a swinging neckbreaker into a diving headbutt for a near fall. Scott hits a brainbuster for a near fall before The Revival hit Kyle with a double running knee and Scott meets Fish up top before Dash DDTs Kyle onto apron and Scott hits a superplex before Dash hits a diving splash for another near fall. The Revival then hit the Shatter Machine for a Kyle hits a diving knee for a near fall before score hits a snap DDT and UE hit the High Low for the pin and the win.
Winner: Undisputed Era defeat The Revival via pinfall.
-We then see several RAW Superstars trying to get into the arena, but are stopped by security as we go to commercial.
-We get a video package for the women’s WarGames at NXT Takeover: WarGames this Saturday night.
Kay Lee Ray vs Dakota Kai
Kai counters a Gory bomb into a code red for an early near fall before Ray stomps her in the corner and hits a float over suplex for a two count before hitting a reverse suplex for a two count. Ray slaps Kai across the chest and hits her with forearms before wrapping her leg around the ropes and Kai sends her face first into the middle turnbuckle before Kai comes back with a dropkick and Kawada kicks. Kai sends Ray into the ring steps and a running boot before rolling her back into the ring for a two count before Ray rakes Kai’s eyes. Ray then superkicks Kai before hitting a Gory bomb for the pin and the win.
Winner: Kay Lee Ray defeats Dakota Kai via pinfall with a Gory bomb.
-After the match several women on the Smackdown roster attack Kai and Ray before the NXT and RAW women get in and everyone brawls until Nikki Cross clears the ring with a trash can lid as we go to commercial.
-We see Dominik Dijakovic with Keith Lee and Tommaso Ciampa ahead of Dom’s match against Adam Cole in tonight’s main event.
The Viking Raiders vs The Forgotten Sons
Erik runs over Cutler before he suplexes Ivar on top of him and VR hit a diving splash for a near fall that Blake breaks up. FS then team up on Erik and chain together offense and tags until Ivar gets the tag and hits Cutler with a running cross body as we go to commercial.
We come back to the action in the ring to Ivar getting the tag and taking out both Blake and Cutler before Erik uses Ivar as a weapon and VR hit a German suplex clothesline for a near fall that Ryker breaks up. Ivar counters a piledriver by Cutler before Blake powerbombs Ivar onto the knees of Cutler and Erik hits a Saito suplex before Cutler hits a DVD to Erik on the apron and rolls him back into the ring for a near fall. Cutler rolls Erik up for a near fall before Ivar takes out FS with a blockbuster and the four men pair off and brawl until everyone hits a move and Ivar takes out both Blake and Cutler with a hand spring back elbow. Viking Raiders then hit Blake with a pop-up powerslam for the pin and the win.
Winner: The Viking Raiders defeat The Forgotten Sons via pinfall when they pin Wesley Blake with a pop-up powerslam.
-We get a video package for Adam Cole ahead of his match against Dominik Dijakovic in tonight’s main event with the winner getting an advantage in the men’s WarGames match.
WarGames Advantage Ladder Match
Adam Cole vs Dominik Dijakovic
Dom overpowers Adam before turning him inside out with a lariat and grabbing a ladder before Adam dropkicks it into his face and Adam puts it into the ring. Dom drops Adam with a discus boot and slams the ladder on top of him before setting it up in the corner and sending Adam into it. Dom sets up the ladder and they try to pull each other down until Adam kicks the leg of Dom and sends it into the ring post so he won’t be able to climb as we go to commercial.
We come back to Dom setting up several ladders and wedging one between another ladder and the middle turnbuckle before Adam hits an ushigaroshi and Dom chokeslams him off of the ladder and onto another ladder. Adam counters Feast Your Eyes into the Panama Sunrise before climbing the ladder and Dom hits Feast Your Eyes before collapsing and clutching his injured knee. Dom climbs the ladder on one leg and Adam meets him before sending the briefcase into Dom’s face and knocks him off of the ladder and onto the one wedged in the corner before grabbing the briefcase for the win.
Winner: Adam Cole defeats Dominik Dijakovic when he grabs the briefcase and gains the advantage for his team in the WarGames match.
-After the match the Undisputed Era are attacked by Superstars from RAW and Smackdown before they brawl and Drew McIntyre takes out Dom before Keith Lee hits him with the Spirit Bomb and Keith and Ivar hit stereo topes. Adam stands tall in the ring before Seth Rollins superkicks him and Tommaso Ciampa comes out to ringside and hits Adam Cole with a running knee before getting into the ring and going toe to toe with Seth. Seth and Tommaso then exchange running strikes as we go off the air.
