WWE NXT (2/6/2024) Results: Carmelo Hayes Explains His Betrayal, Fallout of NXT Vengeance Day, More

Results for the 2/6/2024 edition of NXT.

On Tuesday, February 6, 2024, WWE hosted a new episode of NXT on the USA Network.

The show was headlined by Carmelo Hayes explaining why he betrayed Trick Williams. The full results are listed below.

WWE NXT (2/6/2024).

  • Carmelo Hayes came to the ring to confront the crowd after attacking Trick Williams on NXT Vengeance Day. After the crowd serenaded Hayes with “Fuck you Melo” chants, Hayes. said “Not yet” before leaving the ring. After that segment & a video package recapping the events of NXT Vengeance Day, Vic Joseph & Byron Saxton welcomed the audience to the broadcast before the opening segment. 
  • The Wolf Dogs (Bron Breakker & Baron Corbin) celebrated winning the 2024 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Tournament, starting with an introduction from Alicia Taylor. Corbin was bamboozled by being named The Wolf Dogs by Taylor, but Corbin put Breakker over for his performance despite bouncing his head on the top rope.
    Breakker & Corbin called out The Family, but they were greeted by Axiom & Nathan Frazer for their match against Edris Enofe & Malik Blade. 
  • Axiom & Nathan Frazer def. Edris Enofe & Malik Blade.
    • Bron Breakker & Baron Corbin attacked Axiom & Frazer after the match tossing them out of the ring. After that, The Family (Adrianna Rizzo and NXT Tag Team Champions Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo & Tony D’Angelo) confronted them, setting up a tag title match for next week.
  • NXT Champion Ilja Dragunov was briefly interviewed by Kelly Kincaid in the NXT Parking Lot, but Dragunov said it was not time for questions because he was on his way to call out Carmelo Hayes. 
  • NXT Champion Ilja Dragunov came to the ring and put over Carmelo Hayes for their war on NXT Vengeance Day, saying that Williams would be a worthy champion. Dragunov then said that it was his duty to call out Carmelo Hayes for his actions on NXT Vengeance Day and called him a traitorous Son of a Bitch; however, Dragunov was interrupted by DIJAK. 
    Despite being greeted with “You Suck” chants from the crowd, DIJAK called his shot against Dragunov for the title. The two had a heated brawl, setting a match between the two for tonight.
  • Thea Hail & Jacy Jayne spoke backstage about the Calendar Sales before Hail said that she should go watch Riley Osbourne, but Jacy Jayne told her to play hard to get in the meantime. 
  • Von Wagner & Mr. Stone spoke backstage. Mr. Stone’s two sons tried to convince Stone to face Noam Dar, but Stone was reluctant unit a tag team match was suggested. 
  • Lexis King def. Riley Osborne (w/ Andre Chase & Duke Hudson).
  • There was a video vignette of Kelani Jordan. 
  • Kiana James & Izzy Dame kicked out two roster members from the locker room before Brinley Reece joined in with a lot of energy. James & Dame took Reece’s coffee before dumping it into the trash can. 
  • Carmelo Hayes was finally in the ring to cut a promo. Hayes said that the villain was always the villain, but no one wanted to hear his side. Hayes said that he wanted Williams to succeed as much as possible, but needed to remind him who has the hands that feed him. 
    Hayes explained that Williams crossed him first when he was going for his NXT Title, saying that he had to do what was needed. Hayes finally admitted that he attacked Williams and that he would do it again. Trick Williams’s theme music, but it was an organized rouse by Hayes, saying that Williams was in the hospital with Booker T (speedy recovery to Booker T on his surgery). Hayes said that Williams would always be second to him. 
  • A vignette aired with the following: “A man has three faces: one the world sees, one his family sees, and the real one no one sees but reflects the evil he truly possesses”.
  • There was a vignette of NXT North American Champion Oba Femi. 
  • Riley Osbourne met with Thea Hail & Jacy Jayne backstage. Osbourne asked Hail if she was still down for their date, to which Hail excitedly responded yes. Jayne told her to calm down. 
  • Roxanne Perez def. Lola Vice.
    • The finish came when Tatum Paxley briefly distracted Lola Vice, leading to Vice hitting a Black Mass on Paxley. Perez saw the opening and hit the Pop Rox on Vice for the win.
  • Meta Four (Lash Legend, Jakara Jackson, Oro Mensah & NXT Heritage Cup Champion Noam Dar) were interviewed by Kelly Kincaid regarding Von Wagner & Robert Stone’s challenge, but they were interrupted by No Quarter Catch Club (Damon Kemp, Drew Gulak, Myles Bourne & Charlie Dempsey) who wanted a shot at the Heritage Cup. 
  • Meta Four’s Lash Legend & Jakara Jackson (w/ Noam Dar & Oro Mensah) def. Wren Sinclair & Fallon Henley.
  • Josh Briggs was speaking with Dion Lennox before Brooks Jensen. Jensen said that he was lost without him & Henley, but Briggs told him that the world did not revolve around him. Briggs told Jensen to grow some balls and stand up. 
  • Jaida Parker confronted Ava backstage, where she demanded a one-on-one match against Adrianna Rizzo for next week, which was granted. Ridge Holland demanded a three-on-one match against all three members of Gallus, but Ava booked one-by-one matches against the members. 
  • NXT Championship Match: Ilja Dragunov (c) def. DIJAK.
    • The finish came when DIJAK was hit by Joe Gacy with a toy Boxing Glove in the face, allowing Dragunov to hit the H-Bomb Falling Forearm for the pinfall win. 
    • Carmelo Hayes attacked Dragunov from behind with a chop block before slamming the NXT Title on Dragunov’s face. Hayes stood tall with the title to end the broadcast.
