WWE Network Version Of 2020 Royal Rumble Updated To Include Edge’s First Spear
If you watch the 2020 Royal Rumble on the WWE Network, you won’t find the camera cut to the crowd when Edge enters the ring. WWE has updated the footage to actually show Edge’s first spear on Dolph Ziggler.
In the original version, which aired live, WWE production cut to the crowd as Edge entered the ring and delivered his spear to Ziggler, missing the shot. They caught the second spear delivered to Karl Anderson. The official WWE YouTube video of Edge’s return was edited in a way to make it appear as if the spear on Anderson was the first spear delivered.

Ziggler called out WWE production on social media after the Rumble, wondering how they could miss such an important shot.
WWE later released “unseen footage” of Edge’s return, which was the spear they originally missed. You can view the “unseen footage” in the video above.
