WWE Main Event Report For 12/6/19: Mojo Rawley vs. Cedric Alexander, Plus Natalya In Action
Natalya vs. Sarah Logan
The match begins with Natalya taking Logan down with a headlock, Logan gets free and Natalya gets her in a chin lock. Logan gets free and she scores a takedown on Natalya before applying a chin lock of her own, Natalya gets free and Logan drops her with a shoulder tackle. Natalya trips up Logan and she goes for a leg lock, Logan gets free after kicking away at Natalya and applying a single leg crab. Natalya gets free and she scores another takedown, Natalya goes for the sharp shooter and Logan escapes to the ring apron before landing a knee strike. Natalya follows Logan out of the ring and Logan lands a forearm strike before getting her in the ring, Natalya gets angry and she nails Logan with strikes followed by a series of suplexes. Logan leaves the ring again and Natalya goes after her before getting dropped throat first on the bottom rope, Logan then nails Natalya with a knee strike for a near fall. Logan slows things down by holding Natalya in a cobra clutch,
Natalya gets free and she nails Logan with a modified Glam Slam for a near fall, Natalya goes for a sharp shooter and Logan kicks her way free. Logan then nails a cornered Natalya with a running double knee strike, Natalya shocks Logan with a small package for a three count.
Winner: Natalya
– Highlights are shown of the town hall meeting held two weeks ago on WWE Raw by Seth Rollins, followed by the match between Rollins and Kevin Owens.
– Highlights are then shown of Seth Rollins apologizing for what he said during the town hall meeting a week earlier, followed by Rollins being confronted by Kevin Owens and AOP. Owens then issues an open challenge that is answered by Bobby Lashley, but their match gets interrupted by AOP giving Owens a beatdown. Rusev is also shown attacking Lashley after his match, but then the cops arrest Lana and Lashley for unwarranted physical contract.
– Highlights are shown of The Kabuki Warriors defeating Charlotte Flair in a handicapped match from this past weeks WWE Raw.
– Highlights are shown of Roman Reigns defeating Robert Roode this past week on WWE Smackdown.
Mojo Rawley vs. Cedric Alexander
The match begins with Rawley nail Alexander with a knee strike to the midsection, Rawley follows that up by nailing Alexander with a headbutt. Rawley corners Alexander before landing a few strikes and choking him with his boot, Alexander fights back and Rawley nails him with more strikes followed by a hard Irish whip to the corner as we go to a commercial break. We return from the break to see Rawley catching a leaping Alexander, Alexander escapes his grasp and manages to catch Rawley in a few roll ups before landing a head kick. Alexander then nails Rawley with a Neuralizer for a near fall, Alexander gets Rawley back up and Rawley sends him to the ring apron before eating an enziguri. Rawley catches Alexander during a springboard attempt and Rawley lands an Alabama slam for a three count.
Winner: Mojo Rawley
– Highlights are shown from this past weeks Smackdown, where The Fiend challenged Daniel Bryan to another WWE Universal Title bout. Bryan says the fans helped change him during his match with The Fiend at WWE Survivor Series 2019, Bryan then brings the Yes Movement back as he accepts The Fiend’s challenge. Bray Wyatt interrupts from the Firefly Fun House and he says The Fiend will show Bryan his true form, The Fiend appears from under the ring and he attacks Bryan while also pulling his hair out.
– Highlights are then shown of The OC defeating Humberto Carrillo, Ricochet and Rey Mysterio from this past weeks Raw, followed by Randy Orton’s post-match attack on AJ Styles.
