WWE Hall Of Famer Tony Atlas Thinks WWE’s Female Stars Are Happy Sasha Banks Is Absent

Tony Atlas gives his take about the Sasha Banks saga.

The former 4-time WWE RAW Women’s Champion Sasha Banks was last featured on WWE programing at WrestleMania 35 where she and Bayley dropped the Women’s Tag Team Championships to The IIconics in a Fatal 4-Way tag match. Per reports, Sasha Banks wanted to leave the sports-entertainment company and WWE was hopeful that she’d be ready to return by the Money In The Bank pay-per-view on May 19th.

According to Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE and Sasha Banks are at a “stalemate” regarding what’s the next move between the two parties. WWE Hall Of Famer Tony Atlas recently gave his take on the situation during a sit-down interview with Boston Wrestling MWF. He stated that the fellow female superstars of WWE are pleased that Banks is no longer around because her spot could be up for grabs.

“What happens to humans, we get stupid, and we got things good. You know when she said she was quitting… let me tell you something, every woman in the WWE celebrated. Nobody is sad that Sasha is gone. No woman there. Like when I left, Chief Jay Strongbow told me, he said, ‘Tony, do you think these guys care about what happened to you?’ He said, ‘They’re going to be glad you’re gone so they can take your spot’. You know how many women, right now, are kissing up to Triple H, kissing up to Stephanie [McMahon] and saying, ‘Who are you gonna put in that spot?’ She left a spot. They’re glad she’s gone. Every woman there is glad Sasha is gone.”
