WWE Files New Trademarks For Austin Theory & Brendan Vink

WWE has filed for trademarks for two of its Raw wrestlers.

According to Wrestling Inc, WWE has filed new trademarks for Austin Theory and Brendan Vink this month. The trademark use description filed with the United States Patent & Trademark Office reads:

“IC 041. US 100 101 107. G & S: Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered live and through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service; providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; providing information in the fields of sports and entertainment via an online community portal; providing a website in the field of sports entertainment information; fan club services, namely, organizing sporting events in the field of wrestling for wrestling fan club members; organizing social entertainment events for entertainment purposes for wrestling fan club members; providing online newsletters in the fields of sports entertainment; online journals, namely blogs, in the field of sports entertainment”

Vink teamed up with Shane Thorne a couple of months ago and were then managed by MVP, embroiled in a short television feud with Cedric Alexander and Ricochet. Vink has yet to wrestle since he, Thorne and MVP lost a six-man tag team match against Alexander, Ricochet and R-Truth on the May 11 episode of Raw. MVP has since then moved on to manage Bobby Lashley as Lashley is set to challenge for Drew McIntyre’s WWE Championship at Backlash on June 14.

Theory had been with Zelina Vega’s stable of wrestlers that included Andrade and Angel Garza. However, Theory was kicked out of the group and quickly emerged as Seth Rollins’ next disciple, joining Murphy who had been with Rollins for months.
