– WWE Hall Of Famer Beth Phoenix was on commentary for the Women’s Tag Team Championships match and post-match, she was beaten down by Nia Jax and Tamina.

– Kofi Kingston received an invitation from the McMahon family to come and speak about the WWE Championship match between Daniel Bryan and Kevin Owens. Big E and Xavier Woods urged Kofi to stop waiting on opportunities and chase them down so New Day stormed into Vince McMahon’s office and Vince agreed to insert Kofi Kingston into the WWE Championship match. When Kofi went out to the ring, it was announced that he was set for a Handicap match against Sheamus and Cesaro.
