WWE Elimination Chamber Participants Announced, More Matches Added
WWE's next PPV event takes place in two weeks, and features a big main event match.
John Cena will defend his WWE Championship in an Elimination Chamber match, which will see six stars compete inside the steel structure. Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan announced the competitors on tonight's episode of Smackdown Live.
Cena, AJ Styles, Dean Ambrose, Bray Wyatt, The Miz and Baron Corbin are all set for the match. Corbin and Wyatt are the only two to never capture the WWE Championship. Wyatt's tag team partner Randy Orton won Sunday's Royal Rumble and will compete for the title at WrestleMania.
Cena captured his record-tying 16th World Championship on Sunday, although the record is disputed due to Ric Flair's unrecognized title reigns.
Also announced for the show was a grudge match, pitting Nikki Bella against Natalya, as well as a Tag Team Championship Turmoil Match featuring American Alpha, The Ascension, The Vaudevillains, Breezango, Usos and Rhyno & Heath Slater. Alexa Bliss will also defend her Smackdown Women's Championship against Naomi.
WWE Elimination Chamber takes place from the Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix, Arizona on February 12. Fightful.com will have full live coverage and discussion of the show, as well as a post-show podcast.
