Rhea Ripley has taken out a pair of former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.
On the July 17 episode of WWE Raw, Ripley confronted reigning champions Raquel Rodriguez and Liv Morgan backstage. The WWE Women’s World Champion brawled with the duo, and Rodriguez seemingly hurt her leg in the scuffle. The injury came into play later in the show, as Rodriguez wasn’t at 100% for her match. She and Liv Morgan then lost the titles to Chelsea Green and Sonya Deville.
During the July 24 episode of WWE Raw, Byron Saxton noted that Rodriguez had suffered a serious knee injury. Morgan stated that her partner would be back to deal with Rousey soon. As of this writing, additional information has not been shared.
Later in the show, Ripley brutally attacked Morgan before their scheduled match. She then brutally stomped Morgan’s arm while it was in a chair. Ripley put the chair around Morgan’s arm and stomped it again.
