WWE 205 Live Results 12/19 Hideo Itami Makes His 205 Live Roster Debut & More!

This is the Fightful.com live coverage for tonight’s episode of WWE 205 Live. Tonight after weeks of promotion and making his main roster debut last night teaming up with Finn Balor on RAW; Hideo Itami makes his 205 Live debut. -We open the show with a recap of RAW last night where Cedric Alexander became the new number one contender for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship.
Kalisto & Gran Metalik vs Jack Gallagher & The Brian Kendrick
Kendrick and Kalisto start the match off by exchanging wrist and hammer locks, then the two exchange strikes before Kalisto hits a huricanrrana and tags Metalik in. Metalik hits an enzuigiri into a diving cross body before Jack comes in out of nowhere only to get dropkicked out of the ring for his troubles. Kalisto and Metalik hit topes to the outside before they get back in and Jack puts Metalik in the tree of woe. Kendrick chokes Metalik from ringside when Jack distracts the referee before Jack starts focusing on the leg of Metalik and trying to keep the high flyer grounded. Jack tags Kendrick in and he keeps focused on the leg of Metalik until he drags him back to his corner and tags Jack in.
Jack knocks Kalisto off of the apron before dragging Metalik back to his corner and tagging Kendrick back in. Metalik knocks Jack off of the apron before hitting an arm drag off of the top and finally tags Kalisto in. Kalisto comes in and takes both Jack and Kendrick before Jack counters the SDS and Kendrick attacks him before the referee is forced to call for the bell.
Winner: Kalisto & Gran Metalik via disqualification
-After the match Jack and Kendrick use the steel steps to destroy the knee of Metalik before leaving as we go to commercial.
Hideo Itami vs Colin Delaney
Delaney puts Hideo in a headlock only to be kicked, then Hideo hits a swinging neckbreaker and a clothesline off of the top. Hideo then hits a hesitation dropkick in the corner and the GTS for the pin and the win in under two minutes.
Winner: Hideo Itami via pinfall
-We get a recap of how Tony Nese was kicked out of the ZoTrain last week and how his closest friend Drew Gulak turned on him and sided with Enzo.
Drew Gulak vs Cedric Alexander
They lock up to start the match for a clean break before exchanging chops, then Gulak drops Cedric in the corner with a right hand. Drew hits a float over suplex for a quick two count before Cedric comes back with a huricanrrana into a dropkick. Cedric hits a series of European uppercuts before Gulak rocks him with a forearm and kicks him out of the ring. Drew goes our after Cedric and sends him into the ring post before rolling him back into the ring for a quick two count. Cedric fights out of a side headlock before hitting Gulak with a series of clotheslines and a knee.
Cedric sends Gulak out of the ring before hitting a tope to the outside and rolls him back into the ring before hitting a springboard clothesline for a near fall. Drew counters the Lumbar Check, then they counter each other until Gulak turns Cedric inside out with a lariat for a near fall. Cedric hits a slingshot flat liner for a near fall before Gulak locks in an ankle lock out of nowhere. Cedric manages to get to the ropes for the break at the last second before Cedric hits an enzuigiri that sends Gulak out of the ring. Cedric then hits the Lumbar Check when Gulak is hesitant on the top for the pin and the win.
