Lio Rush vs Akira Tozawa
Akira goes right after Lio before they exchange strikes and Akira hits a huricanrrana and a wheel kick that sends Lio out of the ring. Akira follows Lio up the ramp when he tries to leave before Lio hits a handspring kick when Akira tries to get back in the ring. Akira hits a missile dropkick for a quick two count before Lio sends him into the ring post and hits a backstabber for a quick two count. Akira hits a senton before sending Lio out of the ring with a boot and hits a tope to the outside. Akira rolls Lio back into the ring and locks in an octopus stretch before Lio counters into a pin attempt and hits a rolling kick for a near fall. Akira catches Lio when he goes to the top turnbuckle and goes for a superplex that Lio counters and drives Akira down onto the mat. Lio then hits the Final Hour for the pin and the win.
Winner: Lio Rush defeats Akira Tozawa via pinfall with the Final Hour.
-We get a video package for Drew Gulak ahead of his challenging Cedric Alexander for the Cruiserweight championship this Sunday night at the Summerslam kickoff show.
-Drake Maverick gives an update on Mustafa Ali, saying that he’s suffering from extreme exhaustion and that he will not compete again until Drake sees that he is one hundred percent.
Hideo Itami vs Drake Noah
Hideo backs Drake into the corner and beats on him with forearms before stomping him and yelling for the fans to respect him. Hideo clotheslines Drake before dropping him with a series of strikes and a falcon arrow for a near fall that he himself breaks up. Hideo then hits several hesitation dropkicks in the corner until the referee calls for the bell.
Winner: Hideo Itami defeats Drake Noah via referee stoppage.
-We get a video package for Cedric Alexander ahead of his title defense against Drew Gulak at Summerslam.
Cedric Alexander vs Jack Gallagher
Jack uses Cedric’s aggression against him and rolls him up before they exchange pin attempts for several two counts as Kendrick and Gulak look on from a monitor backstage. Cedric hits a huricanrrana into a dropkick that sends Jack out of the ring before hitting a wrecking ball dropkick through the ropes when Jack gets back on the apron. Jack sends Cedric into the ring post before tossing him back into the ring and locking in a choke and a cravat hits a European uppercut in the corner. Jack hits Cedric with several right hands in the corner before hitting a snapmare and playing to the crowd. Jack starts focusing on joint manipulation and hits a neckbreaker for a series of quick two counts.
Jack puts Cedric in a straight jacket submission before he gets back to his feet, but Jack just sends him back down onto the mat and applies a cravat. Cedric hits a series of suplexes before hitting a back elbow into a handspring roundhouse kick for a near fall. Cedric hits a springboard clothesline for a near fall before Jack hits a diving knee drop off of the top for a near fall and kicks in a cross face. They exchange strikes until Jack counters a lumbar check into a standing guillotine choke that Cedric powers out of into a Michinoku driver. Jack hits a running dropkick in the corner for a near fall before hitting a gut wrench powerbomb for another near fall. Cedric then catches Jack coming in and hits a Spanish fly for the pin and the win.
Winner: Cedric Alexander defeats Jack Gallagher via pinfall with a Spanish fly.
-After the match The Brian Kendrick comes out and attacks Cedric, but he takes out both Jack and Brian before Drew comes up from behind and locks in the Gulock until Cedric is unconscious before standing over him with the Cruiserweight Championship as we go off the air.
