Wrestlers Speak Out Against Racial Injustice
The murder of George Floyd has sparked protests and riots across America and citizens fight against racial injustice.
Plenty of wrestlers have been outspoken about racial injustice, whether it’s sharing their own stories about racism or calling out racism.

The events in USA right now are so awful and it truly hurts to see. Change is needed! With an outsider perspective I’ve seen the violence like that to George Floyd far too much.
Please, all my friends back home also remember what is happening in Australia. #BlackLivesMatter https://t.co/fZAR3O7EyF— Bronson Reed (@bronsonreedwwe) June 3, 2020

It’s sad that we live in a world where we literally have to beg people to be kind to one another. —
My hopes are that through all this…that somehow, someway in the end…we learn that hate and rage and violence isn’t the way.
I love you all. —-

To those that may disagree with you. I understand the anger and frustration. Don’t rush to block them or degrade them. Try to show them what’s right. It’s clear what’s right and what’s wrong. People can be helped. People need to change for the better. Don’t give up on everyone

I remember being maybe 10 when my friends younger brother was mad, can’t even remember why. But he called me “nigger” and I was just about to run and go push him down. But I didn’t for some reason. I couldn’t tell you why. But even at that age I knew it wouldn’t help. https://t.co/s9KMl3pXg2

I was no older than 8 when a white girl called me a “nigger” in daycare. Probably sometime after I was building a fort with tree branches & playing kickball. https://t.co/xobvZ6vVKj

It’s — like THIS! Dude was so far away and got arrested for free speech. Crowd maced. None of this was seen when rioters were armed, yelling in officers faces about haircuts, masks and nails. How can some continue to act as if things are ok?! https://t.co/aAedlv3BSd

It was fairly recently that I finally understood the concept of white privileged. It was @The305MVP who took the time and had the patience to discuss this topic with me to help me understand. In our discussions I mentioned that I never saw racism growing up.

Kindergarten. A little boy refused to let me play with him and 2 others. He told me that he didn’t play with niggers. I didn’t know what that meant. I had to ask my freckle faced, green eyed, red haired mother. I still remember her face. Her concern. Her tears. https://t.co/RwfgKEFC8Z

I once had a police officer put his gun in my face. Why? Because my friend didn’t come to a complete stop at a stop sign. This is just one of many stories we all have. This is our struggle. We need change! #RIPGeorgeFloyd #LetUsBreathe
