WrestleMania 36 Night Two Kickoff Does 112,000 Viewers, WrestleMania 35 Replay Does 421,000 Viewers
Viewership numbers for this weekend’s WrestleMania telecasts are in.
According to Showbuzz Daily, the kickoff show for the second night of WrestleMania 36 averaged 112,000 viewers on FS1 and drew a 0.04 rating in the 18-49 demographic, good for 145th among original cable telecasts in that demographic for April 5.
Viewership numbers for the kickoff show of night one on April 4 were not readily available because the kickoff show failed to crack the top 150 among original cable telecasts for the day. It was later revealed that the first night averaged 106,000 viewers on FS1.
Both kickoff shows were also available to watch on WWE’s YouTube channel. The kickoff show for the first night of WrestleMania 36 drew 2.8 million views while the second night did 1.5 million views as of this writing.
In other WWE viewership news, ESPN aired a replay of WrestleMania 35 on April 5 before WrestleMania 36 started. The replay averaged 421,000 viewers and drew a 0.14 rating in the 18-49 demographic, good for 70th best on cable for the day.
The viewership numbers for the WrestleMania 35 replay are down from the WrestleMania 30 and 32 replays that aired on ESPN in past weeks. WrestleMania 30 averaged 839,000 viewers while the WrestleMania 32 replay averaged 720,000 viewers.
