Blair Davenport has won the Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge at NXT Deadline, but Cora Jade had something to say about that.

is the 2023 Women’s Iron Survivor.

At NXT Deadline on Saturday evening, the Women’s Iron Survivor challenge took place with the winner earning a future opportunity at the WWE NXT Women’s Championship. The field featured five of the very best of NXT’s women’s division. Tiffany Stratton, Lash Legend, Blair Davenport, Kelani Jordan and Fallon Henley would feature in this years matchup.

If you are unfamiliar with the rules of the Iron Survivor challenge, they are as follows.

  • The match has a timer of 25 minutes as two competitors will begin the match and a new competitor will join the field every five minutes until the 15 minute mark.
  • The objective is to earn the most points before the time expires. Points are earned by scoring a pinfall, submission or being the victim of a disqualification.
  • The loser of a fall must go into the penalty box for 90 seconds.
  • Should there be a tie for the most falls, sudden death overtime will feature between the tied parties.

Fallon Henley would kick off the match as the first entrant while she would face off with Blair Davenport as the second. For the first minute and a half, the two women would trade roll up attempts, with neither able to secure the first fall. The two women would continue to trade moves and pinfall attempts with a sense of urgency but would reach the first five minutes without scoring a fall.

The third entrant in the match was NXT Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton, who would distract Fallon briefly allowing Blair to attack and gain the advantage. Tiffany and Blair would team up together briefly, before Tiffany laid Blair out with a kick. Stratton would then take control, hitting a cartwheel setup for an Alabama Slam on Henley. Blair would throw Stratton out of the ring, stealing a fall on Fallon.

The fourth entrant would be Kelani Jordan who came into the match very hot, taking the fight to both Blair Davenport and Tiffany Stratton. Jordan would attempt falls on both Blair and Stratton with both being broken up. Fallon would come out of the penalty box after serving her 90 seconds, scoring a fall after hitting a Shining Wizard on Tiffany Stratton, putting Henley and Blair both on a fall each.

Lash Legand would be the final entrant into the match as the other four women would battle in the corner of the ring, leading to Lash taking out everyone else in the match with incredible showcases of strength. Lash would end up pinning both Tiffany and Fallon in a double pinfall, scoring two points and sending both women to the penalty box.

Upon the 90 seconds for both Tiffany and Fallon in the penalty box ending, Meta Four would block the exit, leading to Fallon and Tiffany escaping out of the top of the box. First, Henley would go through the announce table before Tiffany would hit a swanton from the top of the box onto a pile of competitors.

Blair would then get her second fall of the matchup shortly after, hitting a stomp on Kelani Jordan’s back for a quick fall, bringing her up to two points. With two minutes remaining, Tiffany Stratton would hit her Moonsault, pinning Lash Legend for her first fall of the matchup.

With 15 seconds left, Blair would hit a knee strike on Fallon Henley, covering her for her third fall and putting her into the lead with seconds remaining. As the clock went ticked down to 0, Blair would be declared the winner of the Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge.
