Winner Crowned In NXT Breakout Tournament
Stay Melo.
Carmelo Hayes is the 2021 NXT Breakout Tournament winning, defeating Odyssey Jones in the finals.
The finish saw Hayes get hit with a splash after missing his top rope leg drop. However, Jones was too comfortable with his cover, allowing Hayes to score the win with a crucifix pin.
With this victory, Hayes has earned an NXT title match of his choosing. He said after the bout that he wasn’t sure which title he will go after.
The #NXTBreakout Tournament and a championship contract are on the line.
