Willow Nightingale Unable To Compete On 7/8 AEW Collision Due To Injuries

Willow Nightingale won’t be wrestling on Saturday’s AEW Collision.

Tony Khan announced that Willow Nightingale has not been cleared to compete on the July 8 episode of AEW Collision due to injuries suffered in Japan.

Nightingale was scheduled to wrestle Athena in the semifinals of the Owen Hart Foundation tournament. The bout has been rescheduled for the July 14 episode of AEW Rampage to give Willow the opportunity to be cleared.

Nightingale competed on both nights of NJPW Strong Independence Day on July 4 and 5. She lost the NJPW Strong Women’s Championship to Giulia on night two.

Fightful will have coverage of AEW Collision beginning at 8 p.m. ET.
