Will Ospreay In-Ring Return Announced, Daniel Garcia Pulled From Indie Event
Will Ospreay made a surprise appearance at NJPW Resurgence announcing he is medically cleared following a neck injury that has kept him out of action since May.
It won’t take long for Ospreay to get back in action as RevPro announced Ospreay will defend the Undisputed British Heavyweight Champion against Doug Williams on Saturday, August 21.
This will mark Ospreay’s first match since May 4 when he defeated Shingo Takagi. Ospreay vacated the IWGP World Heavyweight Title on May 20 due to his neck injury. At NJPW Resurgence, Ospreay showed up with the “real” IWGP World Heavyweight Championship and said he would compete on NJPW STRONG.
Lamb to the slaughter.
Come watch Dougs 2nd retirement match.
I’m bringing both belts.
