Will Ospreay: Josh Alexander Has One Shot To Put Me Down, I Think This Is His Ultimate Test

Will Ospreay wants to see Josh Alexander climb to that next level.

Ospreay will make his return to TNA Wrestling at the promotion’s upcoming set of television tapings titled ‘Snake Eyes’ on Sunday, January 14. At the tapings, Ospreay will face off against Josh Alexander in a rematch from the pair’s first match, which took place in October 2023.

While speaking to Denise Salcedo for a new interview, Ospreay chatted about his upcoming bout against Alexander and noted that ‘The Walking Weapon’ has one shot to become the world beater of TNA Wrestling.

“I mean, we all right now this is probably nine times out of ten going to be my last TNA appearance. So now, to go against Josh Alexander, this is his test now to see — because what TNA needs — every company has a world beater. Every single one. You could say like with WWE, it’s Roman. With AEW, you can say it’s Kenny. With New Japan, maybe it was me. We need to find out who your world beater is and I think this is his ultimate test because he’s got one shot of this, he’s got one shot to put down the best wrestler in the world today. That’s the main thing, even though I am going to AEW, I care about the next step of what TNA is going to go through. They need a guy who is willing to take it and be their guy, the world beater, so this is Josh Alexander’s big chance now to go for it and try your hand against the best in the world and see if you can put your shoulders to the mat.”

Before the ‘Snake Eyes’ television tapings, TNA Wrestling will present the Hard To Kill pay-per-view on January 13. Fans can see the lineup for that show here.

Ospreay recently told Jon Moxley that a war is coming to him on his home turf. Learn more here.
