Wild Boar Reflects On NXT UK Dog Collar Match

On the May 19 episode of WWE NXT UK, Wild Boar battled Eddie Dennis in a Dog Collar Match.

The bout was the first Dog Collar Match under the WWE banner since Vader vs. British Bulldog in 1997. Wild Boar was victorious in the bout.

Speaking to Ringsiders Wrestling, Wild Board reflected on the match.

“Those chains suck. They suck. You can’t work with a chain. They do what they want. You prepare for it by just going. The chain always wins. One thing you don’t think about is, you get hit with a chain and you’re going to hit someone with a chain. That’s a given. What you don’t think about is when you fall over, you fall on your back and the chain goes (flying) and then the chain is coming right down on you. You get thrown, land on the mat, but you don’t land on the mat, the chain hits the mat first, so you land on the chain. You also don’t think about getting tied up in the chain when you’re trying to move or pull,” he said.

Wild Boar noted that he watched the famous Dog Collar Match between Greg Valentine and Roddy Piper to prepare for the match.

Wild Boar is currently a free agent after being released by WWE in August.
