Wheeler Yuta Makes Stokely Hathaway Cry In ROH Pure Title Slapboxing Defense
Wheeler Yuta has made another successful ROH Pure Title defense.
The ROH Pure Title is defended under special roles where rope breaks are limited and warning are given for things like closed-fist punches.
Stokely Hathaway has argued that all Pure Title matches should be defended under slapboxing rules, which is the purest form of combat.
Yuta agreed and decided that the first person he’d face under Slapboxing rules would be none other than Stokely himself. While Stokely wanted to seemingly delay the bout, combat official William Regal and referee Paul Turner were there to ensure fans got the dream match they’d been waiting from.

This marks the second ROH Pure Title defense in less than a week for Yuta as he was also successful in defending the title against Daniel Garcia at ROH Death Before Dishonor.
It’s the first time Stokely has cried this week. At least on video.
Let the record show that Stokely still thinks Yuta is a bitch.
