WBD Touts AEW’s 2023 Success In Their Performance Highlights

AEW continued to build a strong relationship with Warner Bros. Discovery in 2023. AEW Dynamite and Rampage already aired on TBS and TNT, but the company added a third weekly show, AEW Collision, in June. Plus, four Battle of the Belts specials aired on TNT throughout the year.
In a press release, WBD highlighted the success of their brands, including AEW, in 2023. In one portion of the release, WBD noted that TNT’s ratings among adults aged 25-54 grew 14 percent year-over-year. WBD wrote that AEW Dynamite, Collision, and Rampage reached nearly four million viewers each week.

TNT’s ratings among Adults 25-54 grew 14 percent year-over-year, with the network maintaining its rank as the #1 cable entertainment network in prime among Adults 25-54, 18-49 and 18-34. Popular AEW Dynamite, AEW Collision and AEW Rampage reached nearly four million viewers each week across TNT and TBS. In addition, TNT’s coverage of the 2023-24 NBA regular season to date is up 13 percent among Adults 25-54 (Q4’23 vs. Q4’22), while the 2023-24 NHL regular season to date is up 53 percent among Adults 25-54 (Q4’23 vs. Q4’22).
AEW’s media rights will be up in 2024. Tony Khan recently commented on the company’s relationship with WBD and says AEW will likely have many suitors. More information is available here.
