Wangman No More: AEW Updates Hangman Page Font In Winter Is Coming Graphic
Bryan Danielson is no longer facing Wangman at AEW’s Winter is Coming edition of Dynamite.
By defeating Miro in the finals of the AEW Eliminator Tournament at Full Gear, Bryan Danielson made himself the number one contender to the AEW Championship. That same night, Adam “Hangman” Page pinned Kenny Omega to win the title from his former friend and tag team partner.
The following week on Dynamite, Page and Bryan kicked off their feud with the two men exchanging heated words. This would set Danielson on a path in which he promised to “kick in the heads” of every Dark Order member.
It was recently announced that the Championship Match between them would take place at the Winter is Coming episode of Dynamite on December 15. The poster for the event, however, caught the eye of many for its choice of font, specifically how it made Hangman’s name look like “Wangman.”
Danielson even took to Twitter to poke fun at it.
Last year’s #WinterIsComing had a title change, so will this one. Wangman’s head gets kicked in two weeks from now. https://t.co/Ma29QXP2p5

Less than a day later, AEW has released an edited version of the ad that removed the peak from the “H.”

Last year’s Winter is Coming saw the AEW debut of Sting, as well as Kenny Omega beating Jon Moxley for the World Title thanks to a helping hand from Don Callis.
Fightful will have live coverage of AEW Rampage this evening beginning at 10 p.m. ET. We will also have a post-show review immediately following its conclusion.
