Later, it was confirmed that due to a supposed altercation backstage between the two men, WALTER had suffered a hand injury and was no longer deemed fit for competition.
Therefore, it was announced that next week’s proposed championship match will be postponed until a later date. New details are slated to be revealed next week.
WALTER and Ilja Dragunov competed in a highly-touted championship match back in October and even though he’s been chomping at the bit for a chance at the title, Ilja we’ll have to wait a little longer due to the injury suffered by the champion who has reigned for over 800 days.
