W. Morrissey Unveiled As Wardlow’s Mystery Opponent On 5/4 AEW Dynamite
A familiar face made their AEW Dynamite debut on May 4, 2022.
On his quest to punish Wardlow, MJF has acquired the services of more physically imposing wrestlers to do his bidding. After The Butcher and Lance Archer came up short, MJF teased Wardlow’s next opponent by closing with the catchphrase, “You can’t teach that,” signaling an appearance by W. Morrissey (formerly Big Cass in WWE).
Though the match was dominated by Morrissey, Wardlow was able to topple the seven-footer, pinning him after just one Powerbomb. After the match, Wardlow fought off all of MJF’s security and demanded a match. MJF agreed but will unveil his conditions for the match next week in a contract signing.

Morrissey has been a fixture on IMPACT television over the past year, feuding with the likes of Moose, Eddie Edwards, Matt Cardona, and most recently, Brian Myers. It’s unknown at this time if this is a one-time appearance for Morrissey on AEW or if he could show up more in the future.
