Vinny Pacifico Talks Deal With G-Fuel Energy, Comments On The Possibility Of Getting His Own Drink

Vinny Pacifico discusses his transition from Bang to G-Fuel.

Pacifico is one of the most popular names on the independent scene right now, primarily due to the fact that he often gains traction due to his energy drink skits that he films with other top independent stars.

Although Pacifico earned himself a partnership with Bang Energy at the beginning of 2023, he recently announced that he is now sponsored by G-Fuel instead.

In a new interview with WrestleZone, Pacifico talked about how how deal with Bang came to a end and how that kicked off his partnership with G-Fuel/

“I was with Bang, and I got hit up and they [told me] that they’re ending contracts with all of our influencers and all of our sponsored athletes. I was like, holy shit. When you already have a sponsorship and you’re doing all of these really cool things with a brand, you don’t wanna go from that to nothing, you know. I was already in talks with G-Fuel before that. So, I hit up the CEO of G-Fuel, we reconnected and talked for a bit and he’s like, let’s do it, let’s make it happen. I had some else call me the next day, one of their agents or managers, and that was it.”

Pacifico then went on to praise G-Fuel, saying that they are much more involved in his career.

“I’ll be honest, they’re a lot more invested in my career and what I do, and they also share my stuff which is cool. I feel like that goes hand in hand with a sponsorship, but none of my other sponsors have done that before.”Their brand is so big, they just clipped up my New Japan spot. I did a spot with New Japan in the match where I got the drink, drank it, hulled up, and did my comeback. G-Fuel loved it, they DM’d me. They were like, oh my god, we’re gonna put this up and make a meme out of it. It blew up my Instagram. My Instagram is still getting likes and comments to this day, it’s been twenty four hours at least, I’m still getting likes and comments and shares.”

When asked about the possibility of getting his his own G-Fuel drink, Pacifico said that it has been discussed.

“That has been discussed. That has been discussed as a possibility down the line. This is a new thing that they’re going with, they haven’t really done wrestling much, this is something new for them. I hope I’m doing a good job so far. I do these promos where I just changed the brand of the drink to G-Fuel. Regardless of what brand I’m with, I will always do those promos, you know what I mean? G-Fuel enjoys them. As I grow and grow my brand, wherever I go in wrestling whether it’s New Japan, AEW, ROH, IMPACT, any company I work for and my name just grows and grows, I think G-Fuel will be inclined to give me my own drink because they see growth.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Pacifico chatted about his recent debut for NJPW. Fans can learn more by clicking here.
