Vince McMahon Injured, Requiring Surgery
WWE announced this evening before Monday Night Raw that Vince McMahon has sustained an injury.
The company made the announcement, informing the public that the Chairman injured himself while training. McMahon isn’t backstage at tonight’s Monday Night Raw, sources tell Fightful.
WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon sustained an injury while training, requiring surgery, WWE.com has learned. The Chairman will be back in the office at WWE Headquarters on Wednesday, as usual.
As mentioned, the 71-year old won’t miss any office time, as he’ll be back in the saddle Wednesday. Don’t look for the billionaire to be getting physical in any storylines any time soon, however.
McMahon’s last match as a wrestler was in October 2012, when he took on CM Punk in a street fight. Before that, McMahon hadn’t competed since his 2010 WrestleMania affair against longtime rival, Bret Hart.
